My husband and I just found out we are expecting our second baby boy! [name]Caleb[/name], our first, is 14 months old. There were tons of girls names I liked, but am coming up at a complete loss with the boys!
I feel like I have read every name in every book and nothing is quite right. The closest I came to really liking something was the name [name]Matthias[/name], but my husband is not enthusiastic about it and says people will end up calling him “[name]Matt[/name]” anyhow. Which is very possible.
I’ve also liked the names [name]Milo[/name], [name]Samuel[/name], and [name]Finn[/name] in the past… but they don’t feel like “the” name, not right now anyhow. I also like the names [name]Kai[/name] and [name]Bodhi[/name] as middle names…which I realize are of an entirely different flavor all together.
Any advice? My taste is pretty all over the place, the only thing I know I don’t want is something really androgynous or anything of the [name]Caden[/name]/[name]Jaden[/name] variety.
[name]Caleb[/name] and [name]Noah[/name]
[name]Caleb[/name] and [name]Isiah[/name]
[name]Caleb[/name] and [name]Lucas[/name]
[name]Caleb[/name] and [name]Jonas[/name]
[name]Caleb[/name] and [name]Jonah[/name]
[name]Caleb[/name] and [name]Miles[/name]
[name]Caleb[/name] and [name]Lachlan[/name]
[name]Caleb[/name] and [name]Declan[/name]
[name]Caleb[/name] and [name]Keegan[/name]
[name]Caleb[/name] and [name]Kieran[/name]
[name]Caleb[/name] and [name]Luca[/name]
[name]Caleb[/name] and [name]Micha[/name]
[name]Caleb[/name] and [name]Malachi[/name]
I love, love [name]Noah[/name], I really wish it wasn’t already so popular!
[name]Samson[/name] is nice as well.
I like [name]Gabriel[/name], but my husband is not so sure. He loves Irish names like [name]Eamon[/name] and [name]Finlay[/name], but I’ve nixed [name]Finlay[/name] as I think it is heading towards the switch to being a female name.
There is an [name]Anson[/name] in my mothers family tree and I sort of like [name]Schuyler[/name] or [name]Lennox[/name] as well. My husband came up with an old Biblical name of [name]Noam[/name] as an alternative to [name]Noah[/name].
[name]Lachlan[/name] and [name]Keiran[/name] are interesting choices. Plus [name]Heath[/name] as it has that slightley hippie/nature sound that I love in names, even though I did not sneak anthing of that flavor into my first sons name.
Thanks for the suggestions! I think it is going to be awhile in coming before we are able to agree.
My girl name was [name]Violet[/name] [name]Elise[/name] Roellyn as violet is the birth flower for Feb (when I am due) and Roellyn is an old and unique family name for girls on my mothers side. Hopefully I can come up with something I feel equally excited about!
I know a [name]Caleb[/name] [name]Isaac[/name] and his younger brother is [name]Connor[/name] [name]Thomas[/name]. Calebs best friend is [name]Kiernan[/name], which is also a nice option. You might also like [name]Levi[/name], [name]Ryan[/name], or [name]Jack[/name].
