We just found out that we are having a boy and would love suggestions for names. Big sister is [name]Sofia[/name] [name]Louisa[/name], and the middle name will be [name]David[/name]. I tend to like shorter names, and we both like Italian and Irish names. Here are some names we like, but we are still looking for that perfect name. Other suggestions and/or thoughts on our names? I love [name]Leo[/name], [name]Luca[/name] and [name]Jude[/name] with [name]Sofia[/name]. I wouldn’t personally go with [name]Samuel[/name] to avoid an ‘S’ name theme and [name]August[/name], [name]Quinn[/name] and [name]Finnian[/name] don’t really seem to go with [name]Sofia[/name] to me. Then I would narrow it down to [name]Leo[/name] or [name]Luca[/name], as [name]Jude[/name] [name]David[/name] doesn’t flow as well as [name]Leo[/name] or [name]Luca[/name] [name]David[/name] to me.
One name that immediately occured to me when thinking about is [name]Max[/name], but I think it’s Greek.
I agree, [name]Leo[/name] or [name]Luca[/name] would both be very nice with the middle and with the sibset! [name]Leo[/name] might be nice to keep the endings different.
Before I even saw your list the first name that came to me when I saw the name [name]Sofia[/name] was [name]Luca[/name]. [name]Luca[/name] [name]David[/name] is very handsome. I nanny the most gorgeous baby boy named [name]Luca[/name] though so I may be biased hehe.
[name]Sofia[/name] [name]Louisa[/name] is beautiful
I love [name]Leo[/name] and [name]Luca[/name] best with [name]Sofia[/name], they both have the same sweet, Italian feel. However, [name]Leo[/name] may be a bit too similar to [name]Sofia[/name] as the both have the same strong ‘ee’ sounds (soh-[name]FEE[/name]-uh/[name]LEE[/name]-oh).
I also think [name]Sofia[/name] is really nice with [name]Jude[/name] and [name]August[/name], and if you went down that route you wouldn’t be limited to Italian-sounding names with a third child.
I’d definitely avoid [name]Samuel[/name], because of the initial. Also, I don’t think [name]Quinn[/name] and [name]Finnian[/name] sound right with [name]Sofia[/name]. I think [name]Sofia[/name] has a very classic, cute feel, whereas [name]Quinn[/name] and [name]Finnian[/name] do sound more trendy and very strong. I don’t think they fit.
Ultimately, my favourite pairings would be:

I know of a sibset of “[name]Lucas[/name] and [name]Sophia[/name]”, so I think [name]Luca[/name] is a great one. [name]Luca[/name] [name]David[/name] is lovely.
