My husband & I are expecting our first on New years [name]Day[/name] and we do not know the sex of the baby yet but we need help with a girls name! Our last name starts with G, if that helps! We like longer middle names than first names…seems to balance it out…any ideas?
If its a boy, [name]Noah[/name] [name]Michael[/name]
[name]Claire[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name]
[name]Claire[/name] [name]Gwendolyn[/name] (may or may not work depending on your last name)
[name]Claire[/name] [name]Julianne[/name]
[name]Claire[/name] [name]Annabella[/name]
[name]Claire[/name] [name]Delaney[/name]
[name]Claire[/name] [name]Paloma[/name]
Thanks for all the suggestions…as you can probably guess, I also like the short/long combinations …My husband really likes [name]Claire[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]!!!..
What do you think about [name]Claire[/name] [name]Emmaleigh[/name]?
First of all, [name]Claire[/name] is a lovely name - a great choice
I’m not fond of non-traditional spellings, so for me [name]Claire[/name] [name]Emmaleigh[/name] is a definite no, but [name]Claire[/name] [name]Emily[/name] is quite nice.
[name]Claire[/name] [name]Rose[/name] - an uber-common mn, but very pretty and nice for the family connection.
[name]Claire[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name] - this is so pretty, and I think the length of [name]Evangeline[/name] balances out the shorter [name]Claire[/name] very nicely.
[name]Claire[/name] [name]Emmeline[/name] - they run together a little, I think, but [name]Emmeline[/name] is still nice.
[name]Claire[/name] [name]Olivia[/name] - I’m not fond of the flow of this one.
[name]Claire[/name] [name]Victoria[/name] - I love [name]Victoria[/name].
Out of these, my favourite is definitely [name]Claire[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name]!
Also, how about (if she arrives on her due date) - [name]Nova[/name]? It means new, and even though it is very rare, it has been used as a name since the 1800s. I think [name]Claire[/name] [name]Nova[/name] sounds nice.
[name]Christy[/name], Thanks for the suggestion! [name]Claire[/name] [name]Nova[/name] is rather unique and has a ring to it. I think my husband and I are leaning more towards the long/short balance, however.
My daughters name is [name]Clare[/name] [name]Emily[/name] and I love it!! With the shortness of [name]Clare[/name] or [name]Claire[/name], [name]Emily[/name] fits wonderfully. The styles are also similar. However, I do NOT like [name]Emmaleigh[/name], [name]WAY[/name] too trendy.
GOOD [name]LUCK[/name]!
and great choice of name
