I think [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] and [name_f]Jillian[/name_f] are ADORABLE together. You’re right [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] and [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] are too matchy-matchy. I love [name_f]Jillian[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f]/[name_f]Kate[/name_f]! They’re both adorable! NOT a fan of [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] though.

I adore [name_f]Brynn[/name_f]!!! [name_f]Jillian[/name_f] is ok. But [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] & [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] are a bit similar. [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Brynna[/name_f]? [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] & [name_f]Brynna[/name_f] aren’t as bad. Besides, if you don’t care either way, and your husband adores [name_f]Brynn[/name_f], I would go with [name_f]Brynn[/name_f]. [name_f]Jillian[/name_f] feels dated.

[name_f]Jillian[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] is my choice of the [name_f]Jillian[/name_f] combos and [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] is my choice for the [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] combos.

[name_f]Brynn[/name_f] is pretty matchy with [name_m]Brooks[/name_m]. A shared B initial would be fine but I think both beginning with Br is a bit much. Also, [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] on girls really irks me. [name_u]Bryn[/name_u] is a boys’ name and adding an n doesn’t make it a girls’ name IMHO.
[name_f]Jillian[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] is lovely.

I love [name_m]Brooks[/name_m]!

[name_f]My[/name_f] favorites are [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] [name_u]Addison[/name_u] and [name_f]Jillian[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f]. They are both gorgeous!

Here are some other options…

[name_u]Addison[/name_u] (could you use [name_u]Addison[/name_u] [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] instead?)
[name_f]Anniston[/name_f]
[name_u]Ashton[/name_u]
[name_u]Blaine[/name_u]
Blaire
[name_u]Delaney[/name_u]
[name_u]Ellison[/name_u]
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u]
Haven
[name_f]Lauren[/name_f]
[name_u]Leighton[/name_u]
[name_f]Lillian[/name_f]
[name_u]Madison[/name_u]
[name_u]Peyton[/name_u]
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u]
[name_u]Vivian[/name_u]

Agreed!! I thought it was a boy when I saw [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] but then saw the name [name_f]Jillian[/name_f] and realized it’s a girl. Also, way too similar like others have said. Team [name_f]Jillian[/name_f]!

[name_f]Jillian[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] is my pick. [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] with [name_u]Addison[/name_u] is two boy names (and two boy names too many [name_f]IMO[/name_f], yes I’m aware people are using [name_u]Addison[/name_u] on girls). [name_f]Jillian[/name_f] is fab on a girl and woman.

I love [name_m]Brooks[/name_m]. [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite is [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]. [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] and [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] are rather close, both starting with the BRR sound, but not so close that I would avoid it. There is nothing wrong with siblings sharing beginning letters, ending letters, etc. If your son was named [name_m]Brian[/name_m], that would be, in my opinion, too close.

Have you considered [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]? [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] and [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] make a wonderful sibling set.

I voted [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]. Its cute and sassy, and I like it with [name_m]Brooks[/name_m]. [name_f]Jillian[/name_f] just sounds too fussy next to [name_m]Brooks[/name_m].

[name_u]Quinn[/name_u] had slipped out of our focus. We had talked about it early on. I’ll bring it back up, maybe he will love it as much as [name_f]Brynn[/name_f].

Thanks for all your feedback. I guess I had hoped to really fall in love with her name the way I did with [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] and that just hasn’t happened.

I also wanted a name that wasn’t hugely popular, or very unusual, and was well established like all the rest of our names. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband’s name is [name_m]Clark[/name_m]. [name_f]My[/name_f] name is in my profile name. [name_m]Both[/name_m] [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] (for girls) and [name_f]Jillian[/name_f] popped up in the 1940’s, so they don’t have the same long tradition, but I guess they are established.

I do like [name_f]Brynn[/name_f], i agree with @hungrymuse that it is cute and sassy, but I also don’t want to start a trend. What if we have more kids?

I also really like [name_f]Jillian[/name_f]. It gives her more options for nicknames and sounds classier, imo. I love it with [name_f]Elise[/name_f]. Husband prefers [name_f]Kate[/name_f], thinks it sounds more “yell-able” (you know, as in “straighten up right now, [name_f]Jillian[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f]”). Lol.

[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] was a top contender for a while, and it is a beautiful name. Ultimately though, I just had too many negative associations with it to be able to get past them.

I’m sorry this got so long. [name_m]Just[/name_m] need to get my conflicted feelings off my chest.

I chose [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] before noticing your son’s name- however, it still really is my favorite. [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] is just such a great name! It is a little bit matchy, I guess, but if you really love it I would go for it.

[name_f]Jillian[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f]! I think [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] and [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] are too matchy. What would you do if you had a third?
