Baby due soon, don't know the gender, and need name help!

We need names for a boy or a girl, as our little bundle is due very, very soon. [name_u]Baby[/name_u] has two siblings, both begin with vowels and end with n, but this was coincidental and not intentional. There is a lot of discussion about sibling names going together, but how important is this, really? Each is an individual, right? If we stray from both of those characteristics, would our third baby ever feel “left out” or like he/she “doesn’t fit?”

[name_u]Baby[/name_u] girl names:
[name_f]Clara[/name_f]- probably our top choice, but doesn’t follow the (unintentional) “beginning vowel” or “end in n” pattern of her older siblings. Also, it is a family name, but is it too “old lady” sounding? Siblings’ names are not quite so “classic/vintage” sounding, but I still find myself liking it a lot! I want to honor my father’s side of the family for a middle name, and we are considering [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], or [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Kenley[/name_f].
[name_f]Olivia[/name_f]- We both like this, and it may have topped [name_f]Clara[/name_f] if it wasn’t so popular. Use it anyway, or go with something else due to huge popularity?
Marigan- I know of one Marigan and have always liked her name. I have noticed a friend of a friend on FB named Marigan. But when googling or researching online, it seems like it could be made up, as it doesn’t have any data on any baby name websites! What do you think?!
Last one is [name_f]Edith[/name_f]- we are both very much on the fence about this one!

[name_u]Baby[/name_u] boy names:
I think we have decided upon [name_m]Griffin[/name_m]. Middle name options could be [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m], [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m], or [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] [name_u]Elliott[/name_u].
Other names on our list included:
[name_u]Owen[/name_u]
[name_m]Eli[/name_m]
[name_m]Clark[/name_m]
[name_m]Malcolm[/name_m]
[name_m]Jackson[/name_m]
[name_m]Bennett[/name_m]

We thought we had our top choices solidified, but as baby’s arrival gets closer and closer, we are no longer so sure! Any opinions or other considerations appreciated!

I love [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m]!

[name_m]Griffin[/name_m] sounds great. I think I like [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] best, but all are nice. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is also nice. You could go with [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Kenley[/name_f] to make it more modern sounding to go with the siblings. I think of [name_f]Clara[/name_f] from the Nutcracker, so I don’t think it’s old lady. Marigan is cute but I have never heard it before. You might like [name_u]Madigan[/name_u] or [name_f]Marin[/name_f].

I would stay away from [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] – it’s just so popular. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] has much the same feminine, classic feel, but it’s much more distinctive. I also like [name_f]Edith[/name_f], especially with the nickname [name_f]Edie[/name_f]. Marigan is so unique that my gut says it’s a made-up name, in which case it might be a bit odd to use it unless you’re naming your daughter after the Marigan you know (which all your mutual acquaintances will probably assume anyway). [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_u]Madigan[/name_u], [name_f]Maren[/name_f], [name_f]Marin[/name_f], [name_f]Maris[/name_f], [name_f]Maryse[/name_f], or [name_f]Morwyn[/name_f]?

[name_m]Griffin[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] is fabulous. From your shortlist, [name_m]Malcolm[/name_m] and [name_m]Clark[/name_m] also stand out – and [name_m]Malcolm[/name_m] [name_m]Clark[/name_m] would be a pretty spiffy combo.
