I like Madeline Ruth (pronounced -line) but my concern is that Emmie and Maddie is a bit too matched? I would prefer to call her Madeline and not Maddie but I know it will happen.
We have also had Lucy on our list since I was pregnant with my first. Lucy Madeline is a contender but we love Ruth, too! What are your thoughts on two middle names: Lucy Madeline Ruth or Lucy Madeline-Ruth?
I love [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] and [name_f]Emelia[/name_f] together! I think they work really well
I think there are lots of nicknames for [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] and that you aren’t forced to use [name_f]Maddie[/name_f]. Like [name_f]Addie[/name_f] , [name_u]Dell[/name_u] ,Elin , [name_f]Linnie[/name_f] , [name_u]Adel[/name_u] , [name_u]Mal[/name_u], [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] , [name_f]Mellie[/name_f]
I adore [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] !! And I don’t mind 2 middle for [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] !
I know! Why is it that [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] gets to be [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] but [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] gets and automatic nickname??
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] is lovely! I don’t really love 2 middle names in general but [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] is nice depending on how it flows with your last name. I don’t know if it would go great with a one syllable last name.
I love [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] with [name_f]Emelia[/name_f] [name_u]Greer[/name_u]! [name_f]Emmie[/name_f] and [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] are super cute together imo, even if they are a bit matchy
I also think that she could go by her full name, and if anyone were to call her [name_f]Maddie[/name_f], a small correction from her or you would help others to avoid the nickname.
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is also very sweet, but a feels a little short next to [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]. [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] or [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] are adorable combos though!
