Baby Girl Boston

What do you think of [name]Boston[/name] as a first name for a baby girl? What type of child do you picture? We want something unique and distinctive as well as recognizable and easy to spell. We tend to gravitate more toward unisex names. Also, what middle would you pair with it? I’m due next week and it’s coming down to the wire here! [name]Love[/name] some input

The only [name]Boston[/name] I’ve heard about was a boy so I think of this name only for a boy. In my opinion, it it too harsh-sounding for a girl. Here are some gentler sounding unisex names you may want to consider:

Actually the only [name]Boston[/name]'s I’ve known have been girls, probably both around 8 or 9 now. I kinda picture a brown haired spunky little girl

I think a more feminine middle name would work, I prefer single syllable middle names so something like [name]Boston[/name] [name]Claire[/name], [name]Boston[/name] [name]Kate[/name]…

The only [name]Boston[/name]'s I know of are boys, but I suppose if you paired [name]Boston[/name] with something clearly feminine it might work.

I don’t like [name]Boston[/name] as a name, because the o in [name]Boston[/name] can be pronounced differently by people with different accents. [name]Imagine[/name] people with a thick NY accent saying it. Bawston.

I have two associations with “[name]Boston[/name]” – the city and the dog breed. I find it inappropriate for a girl.
