Baby girl coming soon thoughts on name

I like the suggestion of [name_u]Storm[/name_u] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] - it breaks up the wordiness, and two one-syllable names.
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_u]Storm[/name_u] would actually be my preference on sound.

I have a strong [name_f]Stormy[/name_f] [name_m]Daniels[/name_m]/porn association with [name_u]Storm[/name_u]…would be a no go for me…sorry :frowning:

Storm is lovely- strong, atmospheric and distinctive! [name_u]Storm[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is nice but quite wordy and the flow is slightly off, if that bothers you. [name_u]Storm[/name_u] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] or [name_u]Storm[/name_u] [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f] maybe? But meaning trumps flow so if you’d rather stick with [name_f]Rose[/name_f], go for it

I like [name_u]Storm[/name_u] as a middle but not as much as a first. It does seem wordy and I can’t imagine a forty-year-old [name_u]Storm[/name_u]. What if you named her [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_u]Storm[/name_u], [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] [name_u]Storm[/name_u], [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_u]Storm[/name_u], [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_u]Storm[/name_u], or [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] [name_u]Storm[/name_u]?

I think if you and your husband both love the name, that’s what you should name her.

I really like the connotations with [name_u]Storm[/name_u], but I find the sound a bit harsh. I prefer [name_f]Stormie[/name_f] (or equivalent), however that has the tendency to sound nicknamey as do most -ee ending name’s. If you love it, I say do it.
