There’s been way too much going on in my life, I’ve almost forgotten that I need to name my baby! I have a narrowed down list;
[name_u]Tierney[/name_u]
[name_u]Auden[/name_u]
[name_f]Agnes[/name_f]
[name_u]Emlyn[/name_u]
[name_f]Evalina[/name_f]
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f]
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u]
[name_u]Sage[/name_u]
[name_f]Sora[/name_f]
[name_f]Wren[/name_f]
I haven’t figured out which I prefer for middle names as opposed to first names, but my husband likes [name_f]Evalina[/name_f] and I prefer [name_u]Tierney[/name_u] for a first name. My kids last name is [name_m]Rolf[/name_m] and my two boys names are [name_m]Kolten[/name_m] and [name_u]Keaton[/name_u].
Any thoughts would be much appreciated,
[name_f]Iza[/name_f]
I think you’ve got it right, from your list [name_u]Tierney[/name_u] looks like the way to go [name_u]Tierney[/name_u] [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_u]Tierney[/name_u] [name_u]Sage[/name_u]
[name_u]Sage[/name_u], [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] and [name_f]Wren[/name_f] make for great middle names, but saying [name_f]Wren[/name_f] [name_m]Rolf[/name_m] is a bit tricky. [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] is the right style but I don’t know if I could go for [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_m]Rolf[/name_m]. [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] seems a bit different in style than [name_m]Kolten[/name_m] and [name_u]Keaton[/name_u].
I’m not a fan of [name_u]Auden[/name_u], [name_u]Emlyn[/name_u], [name_f]Evalina[/name_f] or [name_f]Sora[/name_f]
I have sons named [name_u]Sage[/name_u] and [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], but they are great for girls too. Though with [name_m]Rolf[/name_m] I would not go with [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]. I like [name_f]Evalina[/name_f] [name_f]Wren[/name_f] (eva leena like “ever” as opposed to eeva OR line-a).
With the one-syllable surname [name_m]Rolf[/name_m], I would eliminate the shorter names and those with pronounced w’s and r’s ([name_f]Wren[/name_f], [name_u]Sage[/name_u], [name_f]Sora[/name_f], [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]). I like [name_f]Evalina[/name_f] but it’s not the same style and seems overly frilly next to [name_m]Kolten[/name_m] and [name_u]Keaton[/name_u]. [name_u]Tierney[/name_u] is certainly of the same surname style and flows well with your last name. The drawback is that some people may hear the word “tyranny”. [name_u]Emlyn[/name_u] and [name_u]Auden[/name_u] would just continue the same “n” ending pattern so they may not be the best options. [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] is too clunky with your boys. I think my favourite is [name_f]Mabel[/name_f]. Yes, it’s vintage and feminine but it’s also strong and solid for a “bel” name. Here are some other suggestions.
[name_u]Tierney[/name_u] feels very unisex and uncommon, so I’d pick something very feminine and familiar. [name_u]Tierney[/name_u] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] would be nice, or [name_u]Tierney[/name_u] [name_f]Elise[/name_f].
[name_f]Evalina[/name_f] is nice, although definitely feels different from the boys.
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f] - see [name_f]Evalina[/name_f]
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] - I think I like this best for you. I don’t mind the alliteration, and I think it really suits the sibset.
[name_f]Sora[/name_f] - this is just darling, and I love it with your sibset.
