[name_m]Hi[/name_m]! Due date is today, I’ve had 3 names YOINKED from under me ([name_m]Bowie[/name_m]-[name_f]Georgia[/name_f]-[name_u]Charlie[/name_u] ) in the past few weeks by close friends delivering so I’m moving on! [name_m]New[/name_m] names! My partner acts like we are naming a dog sometimes and dislikes almost every name that I suggest. Any/all feedback is welcome. Go crazy.
The only name I like off of your list is [name_m]Ace[/name_m], but for a girl, I have always liked [name_f]Candace[/name_f] shortened to [name_m]Ace[/name_m].
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you like:
[name_f]Thea[/name_f] ( thayuh )
[name_f]Delilah[/name_f]
[name_f]Adeline[/name_f]/[name_f]Adelyn[/name_f]
[name_u]Phoenix[/name_u]
[name_u]Austen[/name_u]
[name_u]Laurence[/name_u] nn wren, [name_f]Lauren[/name_f], [name_u]Laurie[/name_u], etc
[name_f]Cassia[/name_f] nn [name_f]Cassie[/name_f], ace
[name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] with ace as a nn
if her first two initials are a and c, her nn could be ace, such as [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] could be [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] / Alfee
Wow amazing suggestions! My last name is [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u], but she will take her dad’s last
Name AND my grandma is [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. I super love your suggestions. Thank you.
From your list I like [name_f]Alabama[/name_f], [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] and [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]. [name_m]Bodhi[/name_m] would be interesting on a girl, too.
Are you expecting a girl (not sure if the masculine names on your list are meant for a boy or girl). I’m going to assume it’s a girl!
[name_m]Cooper[/name_m] – No. Too many dogs and last names. Ultimately all boy.
[name_m]Ace[/name_m] – I really like [name_u]Asa[/name_u]. I think it has the same unisex potential. I automatically associate ace with playing cards or slang terms (albeit generally positive or cocky ones). Better in use as a nickname.
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] – my sis’ favorite name. NMS but I can see why people like it. [name_f]Love[/name_f] nn [name_u]Penny[/name_u]
[name_f]Posey[/name_f] – I want to love this name, but there is again some slang association attached to it. Not so much in US though I have heard some.
[name_f]Alabama[/name_f] – not a fan of state names.
[name_f]Theodora[/name_f] – An elegant name. [name_f]Love[/name_f] it.
[name_m]Bodhi[/name_m] – this is actually a top contender for my lil girl. It was my first choice for a boy and I haven’t been able to let it go now that I’m having a girl.
[name_f]Coco[/name_f] – too nicknamey
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f] – So sweet. I find it irresistible.
Alfee – Same as [name_f]Coco[/name_f].
[name_m]Cooper[/name_m]- This is becoming a fairly popular name, but I don’t really care for it on a girl.
[name_m]Ace[/name_m]- I’m not a huge fan of just [name_m]Ace[/name_m]. Have you thought of [name_u]Asa[/name_u] (or [name_m]Aesop[/name_m]) with the nn [name_m]Ace[/name_m]?
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f]- [name_f]Love[/name_f] this name; super cute with [name_u]Penny[/name_u] or [name_f]Nell[/name_f] as nn possibilities.
[name_f]Posey[/name_f]- [name_f]Love[/name_f] this name too. I suppose [name_f]Posey[/name_f] could be a nn for [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] too.
[name_f]Alabama[/name_f]- [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] this. Always thought [name_f]Bambi[/name_f] would be such a cute nn for an [name_f]Alabama[/name_f].
[name_f]Theodora[/name_f]- Pretty cute; love the nn [name_f]Thea[/name_f].
[name_m]Bodhi[/name_m]- Reminds me of [name_m]Brody[/name_m] and I’m just not a fan of the sound in general.
[name_f]Coco[/name_f]- Super cute; if you’re concerned about it being too nicknamey, could could go with other Co- names.
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f]- Sunshiney and sweet.
Alfee- Cute too.
I like [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] and [name_f]Posey[/name_f].
Maybe you could use [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] as a MN since it would honour you without being blatantly obvious?
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] or [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] could work! [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] sounds better [name_f]IMO[/name_f] but idk how you feel about having your last name used as a fn.
[name_f]Cassia[/name_f] would be my suggestion. Similar to [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u], but has the flower element of [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] and [name_f]Posey[/name_f].
Another idea would be [name_f]Alaska[/name_f]. It’s an American state (like [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] and [name_f]Alabama[/name_f]) but is also a cool name! And it’s becoming widely accepted thanks to the book “Looking for [name_f]Alaska[/name_f]” by [name_m]John[/name_m] [name_u]Green[/name_u].
I dislike [name_f]Alabama[/name_f], [name_f]Coco[/name_f], [name_m]Ace[/name_m], [name_m]Cooper[/name_m], and [name_m]Bodhi[/name_m]. [name_m]Cooper[/name_m], [name_m]Ace[/name_m], and [name_m]Bodhi[/name_m] are all boy [name_f]IMO[/name_f]. [name_m]Cooper[/name_m] and [name_f]Coco[/name_f] are dog names, and Alabame doesn’t feel like a name for a person.
[name_f]Theodora[/name_f] is cool!
TWO SUGGESTIONS: [name_f]Cassia[/name_f] and [name_f]Alaska[/name_f]
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f] is my favorite on your list. Very sweet. For you I like:
[name_f]Zara[/name_f]
[name_f]Xanthe[/name_f]
[name_f]India[/name_f]
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
[name_f]Ellie[/name_f]
[name_u]Ridley[/name_u]
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]
[name_f]Nyla[/name_f]
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f]
[name_f]Tilly[/name_f]
[name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_f]Posey[/name_f]
Sorry I have a lot of mixed ideas. Let me know if you like any!
