Would it be weird to name our daughter [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] since we live in [name_f]Atlanta[/name_f], GA? I love the name and have reasons to want to use it that have nothing to do with the state, but I worry it would be odd or she’d get made fun of.
Our last name doesn’t lend itself to names that end in a y sound or 3-syllable names, and we don’t want anything too common, so that rules out a lot of great girl options. Our first daughter is [name_f]Gemma[/name_f]. Is [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] too close in sound? Other names we love but don’t want to use are [name_f]Stella[/name_f] (our dog’s name), [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] (too common around here), [name_f]Emelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] (too many syllables). If you don’t like [name_f]Georgia[/name_f], other ideas are much appreciated!
Thanks!
