Baby girl is a week old and nameless

I get wanting their names to feel relatively equal, especially since the girls are closer in age and will grow up together much more closely than with your older sons.

Still, popularity isn’t within our control and pop culture can sometimes throw a curve ball. I know I’d rather choose something that I love and makes me smile that becomes more familiar over a less popular name that I love less. However, if you love all the names equally, and it helps you narrow down your list, then it’s reasonable to rule it out.

From a popularity perspective, I’d also have a closer look at out [name_f]Romilly[/name_f] due to [name_f]Romy[/name_f] just entering at #926[name_f][/name_f] and [name_f]Romilly[/name_f] ranking #547[name_f][/name_f] in the UK. Probably [name_f]Athenais[/name_f] too due to [name_f]Athena[/name_f] #90[name_f][/name_f].

All that said, I genuinely don’t think Solene’s popularity will ever trouble you. Most realistically, it could bump around the top 1000 for a few years and then slip back under the radar.
