Hi! We already have a 4-year-old boy named [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] [name_m]Theodor[/name_m] [name_m]Elliott[/name_m] [name_m]Wagner[/name_m], and we have just welcomed a baby girl, but we can’t decide on a name! Here are our final options:
What are your thoughts? We live in [name_f]Europe[/name_f], my partner is [name_m]German[/name_m] and I’m italian. Pitseleh is the title of my favourite song
I am partial to [name_f]Tilda[/name_f], personally! It feels pleasantly unusual in the same way as [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m], in my opinion. [name_f]Nova[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] might be a little V-heavy?
I think [name_f]Nova[/name_f] is a different vibe to your other names – very trendy 2020s. I’d discount that one first.
I am really partial to [name_f]Tilda[/name_f] but given your son’s name and your heritage I would personally push the boat out and go with [name_f]Allegra[/name_f]! It’s grand but fun, just like [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m], and the full name has a similar weight and import to it as your son’s.
If I could suggest just one more name in a similar vein, it would be [name_f]Elettra[/name_f] Congratulations by the way!
I was going to say Tilda first - so beautiful, artsy and scholarly with Cosmo - but I do like the brightness and vim of Allegra too. I honestly think you can’t go wrong with either of them.
Am not as keen on Nova, it’s too stylised and thematic for me with, with both being astronomical. I also just don’t find it as charming or as easy to say with Wagner esp if it’s pronounced with a V (and with Vivienne too). That’s also the one I’d lose first.
Small take or leave advice, unless it’s a family name or of special significance, if you choose Allegra, for flow, I might change Vivienne to a one or two syllable name.
I think [name_f]Allegra[/name_f] is perfect for your baby! It’s international, unique and enthusiastic.
I really like how it flows with the full name. I believe it is a great addition to your set.
I would eliminate [name_f]Nova[/name_f], unless you truly love the space theme. I don’t think it ages as well as the other options. It’s lovely for a girl, but I’m not sure if I can picture it on a 50 years old woman, for example. It means “new” in Portuguese, I believe that’s why I struggle with that name
I do love [name_f]Tilda[/name_f] – simple, strong, and distinctive at the same time. [name_f]Tilda[/name_f] and [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] sound great together and serparately!
[name_f]Allegra[/name_f] would be my second choice
I think [name_f]Tilda[/name_f] [name_m]Wagner[/name_m] rolls off the tongue easier than [name_f]Nova[/name_f] [name_m]Wagner[/name_m] or [name_f]Allegra[/name_f] [name_m]Wagner[/name_m], so that’s my vote. Congratulations!
I love [name_f]Tilda[/name_f] so much- sweet and lovely! And so cute with [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m]! [name_f]She[/name_f] would be my first choice, followed by [name_f]Allegra[/name_f], which is also so joyful and pretty.
I absolutely love [name_f]Allegra[/name_f] she’s so elegant, strong and feels very in keeping with Cosm0. They have a classic pan European flair which I think is very distinguished.
Congratulations! [name_f]Tilda[/name] is definitely my favourite for you – it feels warm, quirky and fun, and it’s also the best match for [name_m]Cosmo[/name] in my opinion. All of your options are lovely!
[name_f]Allegra[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] is perfection! I really love the flow and it suits your international family too.
[name_f]Tilda[/name_f] is nice here too, it’s perfectly serviceable but doesn’t quite have the same punch as [name_f]Allegra[/name_f]. For those in [name_f]North[/name_f] [name_f]America[/name_f], the allergy medication association causes a lot of people to dislike [name_f]Allegra[/name_f], but I just think of music and liveliness.
[name_f]Nova[/name_f] seems a little out of place here, though it does match your son’s name. I don’t particularly love [name_f]Nova[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f].
[name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] and [name_f]Allegra[/name_f] is a wonderful pair!
