Baby girl name

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you like Alsie or [name_f]Lily[/name_f]? These were both my grandmother’s names. Alsie [name_f]Anne[/name_f] or [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f]? [name_f]One[/name_f] is unusual and one is very common. [name_f]Love[/name_f] them both.

I [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f], and I’m unfamiliar with Alsie, which is pretty but I’m sure might be confused with [name_f]Elsie[/name_f].

If you wanted to use both, maybe [name_f]Lily[/name_f]-[name_f]Anne[/name_f] Alsie?

I like Alsie [name_f]Anne[/name_f] much better than [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f].
Alsie is unique, even for NB, while [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is much more common.
I think it’s a wonderful way to honor your grandmother and give your daughter a
one of a kind name, thats beautiful and no too out there.

If you did want both how about Alsie [name_f]Lilian[/name_f]? Or [name_f]Lilian[/name_f] Alsie.

I kind of like Alsie. It kind of reminds me of [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] but seems more sophisticated. At the same time, I’m not really sure how I feel about it in terms of a name I’d want on a resume/business card or diploma as a grown woman.

[name_f]Lily[/name_f] works for that kind of stuff (probably because it’s more conventional). But both names are lovely.

I like Alsie. It’s a beautiful name and I haven’t heard it before. I have only heard [name_f]Elsie[/name_f]. Alsie is interesting, I would go for it!

I’ve see Alse as an older form of [name_f]Alice[/name_f]…wonder if that’s the origin. [name_m]Both[/name_m] names are nice.

[name_f]Lilly[/name_f] is cute…I don’t know about alsie? I feel like [name_f]Ann[/name_f] is way over used as a middle name. What about [name_f]Lilly[/name_f] grace?

[name_f]Lilly[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] is cute!
I also would suggest using [name_f]Lillian[/name_f].

I think the origin of Alsie is Alcina… Meaning strong willed.

I prefer [name_f]Lily[/name_f].
