Baby girl name

Me and my husband have decided on two girls names we love. [name_f]Jayde[/name_f] and [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]. My only worry is that the two names don’t sound great together. [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] is an important name for us in the family so we don’t want to change that option. My husband says it shouldn’t matter bc you barley ever say your first an middle name together but not sure I agree? What do you think?

The flow is off with it, I agree. They have the same ending, which to me always feels off. Maybe you could find similar names to one or the other and see if you like it as much? [name_f]Jada[/name_f]/[name_f]Jayda[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]? Maybe even something like [name_f]Janice[/name_f] or [name_f]Janie[/name_f] or [name_f]Judith[/name_f]. Not sure what you’d think about it since you don’t want to change [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], but [name_f]Maeva[/name_f] is still close enough to [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] for there to be some kind of familial connection.

(Btw, A fb friend just named her baby [name_f]Jayde[/name_f], and it’s just adorable~)

Yeah I considered [name_f]Maeva[/name_f] as well… my husband is super fussy doesn’t like the [name_m]Ah[/name_m] sound at the end of names which is why he didn’t love [name_f]Jayda[/name_f] tho I still like it just as much. I agree [name_f]Jayde[/name_f] is adorable it’s so hard bc I love both these names. My other thought was to add another middle name in the middle to make it sound better. I like [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] but it’s just to long I need something much shorter.

I would use [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] and keep [name_f]Jade[/name_f] for a possible future child. Or, add another middle like [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f].

We wanted to use [name_f]Jayde[/name_f] as the first name.
