[name]Just[/name] wanted to get all the Berries thoughts on the name [name]Quinn[/name] for a girl. We had it in our middle name slot, but now are considering it as a first name. Which middles sound best with [name]Quinn[/name]? So far we’ve come up with:
[name]Do[/name] you have any other suggestions? This would be paired with older brother [name]Beckett[/name] [name]Finn[/name]. [name]Do[/name] [name]Beckett[/name] and [name]Quinn[/name] sound like a great sibset or should we go back to [name]Quinn[/name] as a middle?
I think that if you use [name]Quinn[/name], you should use it as a first name because if it is used as a middle both of children would have rhyming middle names.
I like [name]Quinn[/name] and [name]Beckett[/name] together.
For middles names I would use either [name]Emerson[/name] or [name]Story[/name].
I like [name]Quinn[/name] as a girls name also. I too would pair it with some pretty girly, not that it isn’t girly itself but it would really complete it.
Names like
sound quite nice to me!
Like mentioned in another response, you’d probably be best using it as a first name so that it doesn’t seem like you tried too hard by having your kids middle names sound so similar.
From your suggested middle names that you and your husband like, I like [name]Quinn[/name] [name]Story[/name] the best.
[name]Hope[/name] this helps.
I love [name]Quinn[/name] for a girl! I don’t know if I 100% love it with [name]Beckett[/name], as [name]Beckett[/name] and [name]Quinn[/name] could definitely be brothers, but something like [name]Quinn[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] or [name]Quinn[/name] [name]Sarah[/name] would be pretty!
I love the name [name]Quinn[/name] for a girl! She should have a feminine mn like:
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Eliza[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Alexandra[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Emmeline[/name]
I always so look forward to your posts because they’re so insightful. You said that you’re not completely sure about loving [name]Beckett[/name] with [name]Quinn[/name]. I’d love to get your (and everyone’s) input on our other name choices to see if they “match” any better than [name]Quinn[/name] does in the first name slot.
[name]Arden[/name] [name]Quinn[/name] or [name]Arden[/name] [name]Belle[/name]
[name]Bronte[/name] [name]Quinn[/name]
[name]Eliot[/name] [name]Quinn[/name]
[name]Harlow[/name] [name]Reese[/name] or [name]Harlow[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Harper[/name] [name]Quinn[/name]
[name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Quinn[/name] or [name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Sawyer[/name] [name]Quinn[/name]
[name]Violet[/name] [name]Quinn[/name]
Thanks!

PS. The fact that [name]Finn[/name] & [name]Quinn[/name] rhyme doesn’t bother me one bit. Actually, I kind of like it. We are only planning on having the 2 kids, but if we [name]DO[/name] have anymore, we still have family names “[name]Lynn[/name]” & “[name]Wynn[/name]” in our arsenal
I would have to agree that I would assume [name]Beckett[/name] and [name]Quinn[/name] were brothers. However I do like the sound of the names together. It would certainly be a nice choice for a middle name, or a first name for any future sons. [name]Quinn[/name] just evokes a masculine image in my head.

Thank you for your response. While I do quite like [name]Quinn[/name] as a boy’s name, I just love it for a girl. Perhaps pairing it with a more feminine first/middle name (as suggested) would make it feel more girly.
Amydyan,
I love the name [name]Quinn[/name] for a girl. It has a wonderful meaning, it means “Intelligent” (although I believe nameberry has a different definition). It sounds very fresh and I do like it with [name]Beckett[/name] [name]Finn[/name] ( wonderful name, btw
Yet, I do think it would be easier to use as a middle name only because it has a consonant ending which imho, makes a name sound very complete. And although it would be easier, I don’t necessarily think it would be better. [name]Quinn[/name] is beautiful no matter where you use it.
I would pair it with a more feminine middle name like…
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Amelia[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Margaret[/name]
P.S. If you do have more children, besides [name]Wynn[/name] and [name]Lynn[/name] you could also use [name]Brynn[/name] (Or [name]Bryn[/name])!
[name]Quinn[/name] is a nice name but I think in order to make it flow nicely, you need to have a middle name with more than one syllable. I think an “A” name would make it flow better. For example;
Thank you for your thoughts. I agree that any middle that goes with [name]Quinn[/name] probably needs to be more than one syllable. However, I’ve kind of been staying away from middles that begin with vowels because I think they kind of run together (“[name]Quinn[/name] Nade Driana”, “[name]Quinn[/name] Nal Exandra”.) For that reason I’ve been looking more toward middles that begin with a consonant. One of my original thoughts was [name]Quinn[/name] [name]Emerson[/name] which I fear might sound a bit like “[name]Quinn[/name] Nem Erson.” What do you think? Should I steer clear of the vowels completely or does it not matter?
