My vote goes to [name]Juniper[/name] [name]Frances[/name]. I think it is lovely, and [name]Frances[/name] does ground the combo nicely.
I voted for [name]Juniper[/name] [name]Frances[/name]. I think [name]Juniper[/name] will sound just fine on an adult. Plus, she could always going by “[name]June[/name]” if she thought for whatever reason that [name]Juniper[/name] wasn’t professional.
I think [name]Juniper[/name] is so cute! It’s unusual without being weird and it would work well on an adult. [name]Frances[/name] goes well with it too so [name]Juniper[/name] [name]Frances[/name] is my definite favourite from your list
[name]Genevieve[/name] is one of my favourite names (it’s a middle name on my all time favourites list). I don’t think it’s stuffy or snobby at all! It’s feminine but also quite cool (to me anyway) and as for nicknames, you could go for [name]Ginny[/name] if you wanted traditional and girly, or [name]Vivi[/name] if you were into slightly more spunky names. [name]Genevieve[/name] [name]Frances[/name] would also sound really nice.
I picked [name]Juniper[/name]
I also picked [name]Juniper[/name], but I have a special love for that name (and my husband doesn’t like it so I always encourage it for others! I think it works well for all ages, and of course [name]June[/name] is a more grown-up alternative if she prefers later.
Having said that, I [name]LOVE[/name] all of your names. [name]Frances[/name] is lovely, [name]Ivy[/name] is beautiful (but [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Grant[/name] kind of reminds me of University though…[name]Ivy[/name] league + funding grant) [name]Sailor[/name] is awesome and Somerset is so unique and special.
My favorite combo would would [name]Juniper[/name] Somerset [name]Grant[/name]
I’m going to vote for one of the names that you didn’t put in the poll.
[name]Genevieve[/name]! The name itself and the double G’s make it perfect for the nn [name]Gigi[/name]! [name]Genevieve[/name] has other nn possibilities too: [name]Gen[/name], [name]Ginny[/name], [name]Neve[/name], [name]Eve[/name], [name]Evie[/name], [name]Vivi[/name], Vee
I love the mn Somerset. It is sooo romantic! It might be a bit much with [name]Genevieve[/name] though. You will have to be careful of some vowels if you go with [name]Genevieve[/name] [name]Grant[/name].
Good luck!
[name]Ivy[/name] Somerset is quite sweet
Thanks everyone for your thoughts and feedback! I hadn’t thought of university funding for [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Grant[/name]! (not really an Australian phrase but of course we are familiar with [name]Ivy[/name] League) … DH has joked before about [name]Art[/name] [name]Grant[/name] and [name]Land[/name] [name]Grant[/name]! …and some of my favourite names have been crossed off the list for the same reason, for example [name]Patience[/name] ( not to mention [name]Hugh[/name]!).
Anyway, thanks again, hopefully it will help clarify the thoughts in my baby brain!!
I voted for [name]Juniper[/name] [name]Frances[/name] and [name]Frances[/name] Somerset.
[name]Frances[/name] is so lovely and underused. It would absolutely make my day to meet a baby named [name]Frances[/name].
[name]Frankie[/name] [name]Grant[/name] is sweet and, in the opinion of a fellow Australian, no more nasally than [name]Maggie[/name] [name]Grant[/name].
Also, I love the name [name]Milo[/name] but have long been resigned to the fact that it’s probably not usable in Australia. Have you found the association with the brand annoying? Or does it come up less that you’d think?
