Baby has no name!

I personally prefer [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], [name_u]London[/name_u] isn’t really my style although I think it is a perfectly fine name. They are definitely different styles… If you would like more children it would be a good idea to compare any other possible names. [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] is vintage, nature and works well with names like [name_f]Willow[/name_f], [name_f]Iris[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], [name_m]Jasper[/name_m], [name_m]Felix[/name_m], [name_m]Miles[/name_m]. [name_u]London[/name_u] is modern, androgynous and fits well with names like [name_u]Haven[/name_u], [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u], [name_u]Aspen[/name_u], [name_m]Kingston[/name_m], [name_m]Maddox[/name_m], [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u]. Of course, there’s nothing saying that the names have to match in style but maybe thinking about it might help you make a choice.

[name_u]London[/name_u] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] Broke is cute. I really like the nn [name_f]Livy[/name_f]. Or can you do [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u]? [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u] works well. Then you can save [name_u]London[/name_u] in case you ever have another girl. Good luck!

[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] [name_m]Smith[/name_m]!!

[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] is a gorgeous, light name with a lot of character and historical use. [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] is a great botanical name and is ageless whereas I feel that [name_u]London[/name_u] seems trendy and defiantly not ageless. I feel that [name_u]London[/name_u] could date like I believe [name_u]Madison[/name_u] is slowly doing so. [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_m]Smith[/name_m] has a great spunky ring to it.

I like [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] much better. [name_u]London[/name_u] feels too trendy to me and it seems odd to me to to use a place name without any connection to the place (I’m just assuming here, you might have a [name_u]London[/name_u] connection!).

But good luck choosing, I’m sure your little girl will wear either name well!

[name_u]London[/name_u] is a 4th generation male name in our family so I would consider it for a boy but definitely prefer [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] for a girl! That being said, even if you love both, I would pick one or the other. I am pregnant with baby #5 and the naming just gets harder… don’t use all your favorite names at once  I would go with [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] [name_m]Smith[/name_m] and then save [name_u]London[/name_u] for later. I personally don’t think [name_u]London[/name_u] [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] flows as nicely.

Good [name_m]Luck[/name_m] and congrats!

[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_u]Brooke[/name_u]!!!

[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_u]London[/name_u] or [name_u]London[/name_u] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] ([name_u]Love[/name_u] the name [name_u]London[/name_u] and two-syllables helps because your last is only one but honestly any combo is beautiful congrats on your sweet girl!)

I also prefer [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] and think [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] [name_m]Smith[/name_m] is lovely. Congratulations!

[name_u]London[/name_u] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] is a great compromise!

I wanted to mention although it shouldn’t deter you from using [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] if you love it that initial wise IBS also stands for Irritable Bowel Syndrome… no hate, just wanted to mention it.

Ooh i have a super soft spot for [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]. I also think [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_u]London[/name_u] is best, but with middle name [name_u]Brooke[/name_u], i might go with [name_u]London[/name_u]

Another vote for [name_f]Ivy[/name_f].

Thanks everyone! We’ve gone with [name_u]London[/name_u] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_u]Brooke[/name_u], but I think we will be using [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] as her common name, we just like the [name_u]London[/name_u] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] combo and as a previous poster mentioned, want to stay away from the initials IBS. So, initials will be LIBS, full name includes both that we love, but commonly used name will likely be [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] as we both feel after calling her [name_u]London[/name_u] for a day that the name is too big for her. This has been much more complicated than naming my son lol, but I think we have reached a happy place with it

I love the name [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] and prefer it as a first name over both [name_u]London[/name_u] and [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], which are both stylish but feel trendy and are rising in popularity as we speak.

I don’t mind two nature names, and [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] is so pretty! [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] sounds too descriptive, though. [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] [name_u]London[/name_u] sounds sophisticated. [name_u]London[/name_u] [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] reminds me a little bit of [name_u]London[/name_u] [name_m]Bridge[/name_m].

Favourites:

  1. [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] [name_u]London[/name_u]
  2. [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]
  3. [name_u]London[/name_u] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] (this is a distant third, I think these names are just too trendy right now, and will sound dated a decade from now.)
  4. [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_u]London[/name_u] (same comment)
  5. [name_u]London[/name_u] [name_u]Brooke[/name_u]

[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] for a first

Thanks for your help! Her name is [name_u]London[/name_u] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_u]Brooke[/name_u], nn [name_f]Liv[/name_f]/[name_f]Livvy[/name_f]
