Thanks to everyone who helped us make the decision on what to name our surprise baby if she was a girl - Nameberry - Welcome to the Nameberry Forums

My gut was right and our little [name_f]April[/name_f] baby turned out to be a girl!

We named her [name_f]Iona[/name_f] [name_f]Saskia[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]

[name_f]Iona[/name_f] as a name is very special and poignant to us as I lost my father last year shortly after my 12 week scan - luckily the timing meant he was able to know I was pregnant and hear her heartbeat. The Scottish island of [name_f]Iona[/name_f] was one of his favourite places so her name is a special nod to him.

[name_f]Saskia[/name_f] was our other front runner and makes a lovely pair with [name_f]Iona[/name_f] as a middle name, and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] just felt right to finish her name off.
