Baby Lavender?

I am loving the name Lavender if baby is a girl! However, last name is Barber. Does the ER ending on both names work? Lavender Barber. Does it flow? Hate it or love it?

I think it’s lovely! [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] is gorgeous but maybe paired with a middle name that doesn’t finish in “er” to cut off the repetitiveness would be better! I think if you really love it you should use it🥰

I think it works just fine, since [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] has three syllables and [name_m]Barber[/name_m] has two. I quite like it’s flow! I love the name [name_f]Lavender[/name_f], as well :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

i think it works fine! the flow is really good :))

I like [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] [name_m]Barber[/name_m]! I don’t find the -er ending a problem. For me, a hairdresser that’s covered in light purple paint is what I find funny!!

Walking into the barbershop only to see a man with lavender skin, hair, clothes, and shoes holding some scissors…what a sight!!

Oh, a little [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] would be the sweetest!!

I totally get the concern with the endings. [name_f]My[/name_f] surname has the same issue and it ruled out several names for us, unfortunately. I don’t think [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] [name_m]Barber[/name_m] would be an issue though. Different number of syllables.

Not sure how I feel about all of that!

The flow’s not ideal, but I don’t think it’s bad at all! [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] is a lovely name :purple_heart:

I think [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] is such a sweet name. I agree with the others who have said that the difference in number of syllables helps the first and last names flow. I’d love to know what you’re thinking about for a middle name!

I think it’s fine, it doesn’t sound horrible. [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] is such an adorable name, btw!

[name_f]Lavender[/name_f] is absolutely gorgeous :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I think [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] sounds absolutely fine with [name_m]Barber[/name_m] due to the syllable count being different as [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] is three syllables & [name_m]Barber[/name_m] is two the name doesn’t sound disjointed at all.

I love [name_f]Lavender[/name_f]. But I think it is problematic with a last name that’s a noun, almost like you are describing a barber.

Lavender’s a really great choice! The flow isn’t the best and it’s a little wordy overall, but Lavender’s too awesome a name to lose over that imo.

I love the name Lavender, so warm and whimsical. I also think it sounds fine with Barber as a surname. And if you put in a middle name that doesn’t end in the er sound then you will absolutely be fine!

[name_f]Lavender[/name_f] is lovely. I think the extra syllable of [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] means you can get away with two er endings

I think it works fine. And [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] is such a beautiful name!

[name_f]Lavender[/name_f] is lovely!! And i think it goes just fine with the surname!

[name_f]Lavender[/name_f] is lovely. I think I’ve had [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] on my list at one point or another. I actually teach a [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] in high school and it works on her. She’s a sweetheart.

I think the flow’s fine and I’m currently falling in love with [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] so :smiling_face_with_three_hearts::smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

It flows beautifully!! Love it!!
