We had a scheduled cesarean in the morning of [name_m]January[/name_m] 7th. At 3am that night my waters started breaking and my [name_m]Braxton[/name_m] Hicks contractions started being quite uncomfortable and actually painful. In other words: baby girl was totally onboard with being born that day.

She was born via cesarean at 10.03 and was greeted by gasps of awe from the whole staff when they saw her. She was perfect. The most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen.

It took us roughly 30min before we named her [name_f]Marceline[/name_f]. It had been my favourite name since before falling pregnant and it also suited her. She just was our little [name_f]Marcie[/name_f], no doubt about it. Her dad also thought of another cute nickname for her; Pan-Pan (from marzipan). We’ll see if that one sticks.

Her full name is [name_f]Marceline[/name_f] [name_f]Suzy[/name_f]. Middle name comes from grandma and a long line of Suzannas. She joins big brother [name_m]Obi[/name_m] [name_m]Axel[/name_m].
Wow! What a showstopper name! Am often suggesting Marceline on here, it’s so warm and sleek, and I really like an unexpected mid century name in middle spot. Great choice!
Other nn options btw: Maisie/Mazy (to bring in middle), Marley, Ceci, Leni or Mars. Edit: and Zippy from Marzipan.
All the best for your recovery and fourth trimester.
Congratulations on your little girl! [name_f][/name_f] [name_f]Marceline[/name_f] [name_f]Suzy[/name_f] is a gorgeous name and [name_f]Marcie[/name_f] is adorable
