Hey!! My husband and I just found out we are having a boy. We love the name Citizen [name_u]Michael[/name_u] (Citi for short). However, we can’t find anything about that name whatsoever. We are going for a unique name, but my husband fears it’s too “out there.” Thoughts please??!!! Thank you! 
Yeah it’s way out there [name_f]IMO[/name_f]… I think Citizen [name_m]Kane[/name_m] and also just like, well yeah he’s a citizen, but what’s his name? Sorry if that sounds harsh, I just don’t think this is one of those words that works as a name.

Well, you can’t find information on the name because it is a title or a word, rather than a name. Many words work as names, but this one misses the mark for me… strictly because of meaning.
It would be like naming your child Girl, Boy, Person or National. A citizen is a status. We are citizens of where we live. This makes it confusing as a name.
I usually go for unique names, and even like plenty of noun and word names. However, Citizen is a bit too “out there” for me. Citi is not bad though. [name_f]Citlali[/name_f] is a Native American name for “star” which might work with the nickname Citi.
