[name_m]Hans[/name_m] is a family name for us, and we are thinking of using it if we have a boy. The possible combinations would be

[name_m]Hans[/name_m] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m]
[name_m]Hans[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u]
or [name_m]Hans[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]

We love the [name_m]Hans[/name_m] the baby would be named after, but is the name too connected to Frozen?? Should we keep it in the middle spot?

I’ve seen Frozen a good 3 dozen times… And when I saw the title it didn’t pop in my head until I read what you wrote… Lol ( not like [name_m]Sven[/name_m] would have :wink: lol )

[name_m]Hans[/name_m], I worked with a guy years ago names [name_m]Hans[/name_m], he was friendly and smart…

I very much like it, its short and so strong at the same time. It’s a nice family name and I especially like [name_m]Hans[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]!!

I honestly didn’t get the reference until you mentioned it either, so it’s probably fine. Anyway, I love [name_m]Hans[/name_m]! It’s a great name, and I really love [name_m]Hans[/name_m] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m]!

I did think of Frozen, but I don’t think it’s a huge deal at all. I have a [name_f]Belle[/name_f] and never get princess comments. If it bothers you, use it in the middle, but there’s no reason to. It’s a great name.

It should be fine. Frozen hopefully wont be a big deal in a few years anyway!

I love [name_m]Hans[/name_m] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m]! I think [name_u]Michael[/name_u] is overused and [name_m]Hans[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] reminds me too much of [name_m]Hans[/name_m] [name_m]Christian[/name_m] [name_m]Andersen[/name_m].

I love it! [name_m]Hans[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] (or Aleksander) sounds so handsome.

[name_m]Hans[/name_m], [name_m]Hansel[/name_m], [name_m]Ansel[/name_m], [name_m]Sven[/name_m], [name_m]Christof[/name_m], [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m], [name_m]Viktor[/name_m], [name_m]Ivan[/name_m] are all on my long list

I love [name_m]Hans[/name_m]! On our list we have the combo [name_m]Hans[/name_m] Troubadour…but we are weird. :roll eyes:

[name_m]Hans[/name_m] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] is super handsome. I wouldn’t worry about the Frozen association.

All I can think of is the guy from Frozen

I’ve seen Frozen a decent amount of times and it didn’t even cross my mind. To me it’s not as iconic to Frozen as [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] or [name_m]Sven[/name_m]. I wouldn’t worry about the connection.

I love [name_m]Hans[/name_m] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m]. I don’t think of Frozen, but I also never saw the movie.

Yes [name_m]Hans[/name_m] is great and I didn’t think of frozen at all.

I was going to name my cat [name_m]Hans[/name_m] after [name_m]Hans[/name_m] Gruber for [name_m]Alan[/name_m] Rickman haha so hopefully that is a positive for you.

[name_m]Hans[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] would be my choice :slight_smile:
