Post your questionnaire below
how would you describe the style you tend to lean toward?
what are some specific examples of names that you like?
which of these could you realistically imagine on a child?
what do you like about these names? the sound, meaning, vibe, etc.
which of these names can you imagine on a newborn, child, teenager and adult?
how important is it that the name is easy to spell and/or pronounce?
are their any family names that you would like to use? would you want to honor your heritage?
edit: also, are there any particular letters/sounds you are drawn to?
I would also encourage them to use some of their favorite name in conversation to see what feel natural.
Does meaning matter to you? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you want to use any honors?
Does popularity matter to you?
What names can’t be used because of similarity to siblings or cousins?
Are there any specific languages or accents within your family that you need to be aware of when choosing a name?
Does length matter?
What names don’t sound good with your last name?
Obviously these aren’t the only questions but these are some that would help narrow down a list.
