I am not pregnant but I love looking at baby names. I recently came across the baby girl name Soul and I think it’s really cool! What are your thoughts? Is it useable? What sibling names would go good with Soul?
I wouldn’t use it myself, but it wouldn’t bother me if someone else used it. I think it’s more fitting as a middle, since it’s obviously being used for the meaning behind it… I personally don’t think the word ‘soul’ itself is particularly pretty sounding.
I’d imagine that a girl with a middle name Soul would have siblings with off-the-beaten-road-skewing-religious middles as well. Perhaps [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m], Psalm, [name_f]Heaven[/name_f], Merit etc.
It sounds masculine to me because it reminds me of the name [name_m]Saul[/name_m] but I also don’t think that name has a nice sound either. I like it in theory.
I think it sounds like something a Kardashian would use tbh. So siblings would be something like [name_u]Dream[/name_u], [name_u]True[/name_u], [name_u]Reign[/name_u], or [name_m]Saint[/name_m].
I like the sound and feel of it but I don’t think I would use it personally. I’d prefer [name_f]Psyche[/name_f] or [name_f]Alma[/name_f] maybe.
I prefer [name_m]Sol[/name_m] [sohl]. I think it’s a nice name and an even better nickname for something like [name_f]Soledad[/name_f], [name_f]Soleil[/name_f], or Sølvi.
i adore all the names Soul/[name_m]Sol[/name_m]/Soli/[name_f]Soleil[/name_f]! it is definitely wearable!

I agree that [name_m]Sol[/name_m] or [name_f]Soleil[/name_f] would work perfectly, but Soul I can’t seem to get on board with.

I do enjoy Soul -it has a warm feeling. [name_m]Sol[/name_m] or [name_f]Marisol[/name_f] could e alternatives
