Hello we need some help in deciding on a baby girl name, sister for [name_m]Henry[/name_m]! [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] or [name_f]Estella[/name_f]? Which is prettier? Classier? So confused! Thanks!
Really like both, but I prefer [name_f]Estelle[/name_f], more elegant imo, for which [name_f]Stella[/name_f]/ [name_f]Estella[/name_f] could be a nn. Depends on last name rhythm too. Would probably go [name_f]Stella[/name_f] over [name_f]Estella[/name_f].
I prefer [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] with [name_m]Henry[/name_m], but I agree with Elolset that last name rhythm plays a large role in choosing which variation to use.
I vote for [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] with [name_m]Henry[/name_m]! [name_m]Henry[/name_m] and [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] sound lovely together. On the flip side, I think [name_m]Henry[/name_m] and [name_f]Stella[/name_f] work nicely as a pair, as well.
I prefer [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] overall and with [name_m]Henry[/name_m], but agree that your last name could be a deciding factor.
[name_f]Estelle[/name_f] is better imo!
I prefer [name_f]Estella[/name_f] on its own, but [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] is lovely with [name_m]Henry[/name_m] - it’s very close, and I don’t think you can go far wrong with either I would probably pick [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] here, though!
[name_f]Estelle[/name_f] sounds really nice with [name_m]Henry[/name_m]! Although, I feel like a girl named [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] would have to correct people often that her name is not [name_f]Stella[/name_f].
I like both a lot, but I think [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] goes better with [name_m]Henry[/name_m].
I prefer [name_f]Estelle[/name_f], it sounds better with [name_m]Henry[/name_m]
I love [name_f]Estelle[/name_f]!
With [name_m]Henry[/name_m] I’d choose [name_f]Estelle[/name_f].
Thanks for the responses everyone! I think [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] seems to be more liked with [name_m]Henry[/name_m] which we also call [name_m]Harry[/name_m]. I just wonder [name_m]Harry[/name_m] is an English name and [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] a [name_m]French[/name_m] name that was barely used in [name_f]England[/name_f] even now…Does it have an old lady feel?? Thanks!
Yes, but [name_f]Estella[/name_f] feels more Latin/ Spanish to me. I think [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] feels more vintage chic, like [name_m]Henry[/name_m]. And you can still get the nickname [name_f]Stella[/name_f] if you like. I think it will be cute and very pretty on a little girl! Not too old lady.
I prefer [name_f]Estelle[/name_f]. I think its classier than [name_f]Estella[/name_f].
