I have a beautiful [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] S_______ and (although I’m not pregnant yet) I would like to call her baby sister [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] S_______.
Firstly, what do people think of [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]?
Secondly, if we had a third girl what should she be called? I like traditional names, not too popular (i.e., not top 10), strong names, pretty/romantic but also intelligent sounding names!
I like [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f], my only criticism is how common [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is in the middle. I would prefer something more original like [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] [name_u]Brooke[/name_u], [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f], [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], or [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] [name_u]Sage[/name_u]. As a third sister to [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Coralie[/name_f], I would choose [name_f]Hazel[/name_f], [name_f]Bridget[/name_f], [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], [name_f]Aria[/name_f], [name_f]Livia[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], [name_f]Francesca[/name_f], [name_f]Gemma[/name_f], [name_f]Julia[/name_f], or [name_f]Isla[/name_f]. Sounds like a great sibset!
Coralie Grace is gorgeous and it goes with Scarlett really well. I second the previous suggestions of Felicity, Magnolia, and Tallulah.
Scarlett, Coralie and…

[name_f]Coralie[/name_f] is great with [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f], and [name_f]Cora[/name_f] is a nice nn. I don’t care for [name_f]Grace[/name_f] in the middle, unless you’re honouring a relative. It seems like the most ‘filler’ name because every second girl seems to have it as a middle name. Having said that, there is nothing bad about the name either.
I second pp’s suggestion of [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] [name_u]Sage[/name_u]. Or you could choose a less common virtue name like [name_f]Hope[/name_f] or [name_f]Joy[/name_f]. [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] is nice. I also like [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] or [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u].
A sister could be…(trying not to repeat)
[name_f]Annabelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Arabella[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosa[/name_f]
[name_f]Thea[/name_f]
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f]
[name_f]Theresa[/name_f]
[name_f]Viviana[/name_f]
[name_f]Frances[/name_f]
[name_f]Delia[/name_f]
[name_f]Flora[/name_f]
[name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Avril[/name_f]
[name_f]Sibyl[/name_f]
[name_f]Sibella[/name_f]
[name_f]Esther[/name_f]
[name_f]Anya[/name_f]
[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f]
[name_f]Lillian[/name_f]
[name_f]Annika[/name_f]
[name_f]Lyra[/name_f]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f], [name_f]Coralie[/name_f], and [name_f]Miranda[/name_f]! [name_f]Miranda[/name_f] is a “traditional name, not too popular (i.e., not top 10), strong, pretty/romantic but also intelligent sounding!”
Thanks everyone for your fabulous ideas. [name_f]Grace[/name_f] isn’t a family name but I am rather fond of it.
I liked your alternative suggestions of:
[name_f]Coralie[/name_f] [name_u]Sage[/name_u]
[name_f]Coralie[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f]
[name_f]Coralie[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u]
I also like:
[name_f]Coralie[/name_f] [name_f]Lark[/name_f]
[name_f]Coralie[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
[name_f]Coralie[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f]
[name_f]Coralie[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]
I think a middle name for [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] works really well with just one syllable, especially with our two syllable surname!
As for a baby sister…I liked your suggestions of:
[name_f]Miranda[/name_f] - reminds me of a J.W.Waterhouse painting called [name_f]Miranda[/name_f], the [name_f]Tempest[/name_f]. Less keen after SATC though.
[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] - my late Grandmother’s middle name! Only hesitation is that a Cypriot friend says the nn would be ‘Nasty’ in her country!
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] - lovely but reserved by a close, childless friend!
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] - I really like but may be a bridge too far for my husband
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f] - vetoed by husband as a ‘cat’s name’!
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] - vetoed by husband as reminds him too much of the [name_m]Roald[/name_m] Dahl character
[name_f]Isadora[/name_f] - lovely and nn could be [name_u]Issy[/name_u] or [name_f]Dora[/name_f]. Not too popular either.
[name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] - great feminist name after Ms Pankhurst!
I also love:
[name_f]Circe[/name_f] (“sir-see”) - but may be tainted by horrod GoT character of same name but different spelling. Also is a bit of a tongue twister with our S surname!
[name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] - love it but also vetoed by husband as a ‘cat’s name’!
[name_f]Lara[/name_f] - nice
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] - nice
[name_f]Pandora[/name_f] - would have been fab before the jewellery chain!
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] - was going to be [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]'s mn originally. Was put off by Disney [name_f]Princess[/name_f] connotations!
[name_f]Eve[/name_f] - elegant but works well as a mn
[name_f]Valentina[/name_f] - love it but dislike nn [name_u]Val[/name_u] and nn [name_f]Tina[/name_f]!
[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] - love it but husband says it sounds too much like “I’ll feel ya”!!?
[name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] - nice
[name_f]Lark[/name_f] - nice but more mn
Let me know your thoughts on the above!! Thank you.
I love coralie [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. Stick with grace. Its meaning is abounding and its only her middle name! It goes great with coralie and both names are beautiful
I love [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f], so sweet.
I would look for names containing another l like [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Coralie[/name_f]. I would also look for names with a different ending, so no [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] and beginning so no [name_f]Clara[/name_f].
For example:
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f], [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] & [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f], [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] & [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] - or any of the bell names
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f], [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] & [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f], [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] & [name_f]Emmaline[/name_f]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f], [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] & [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f], [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] & [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]
