I highly prefer [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f].
Judging just by first names, I prefer [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f], which is in my personal top ten, but I also really love [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]. When I look at the three name combos, though, I like [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Laetitia[/name_f] [name_f]Odette[/name_f] more than [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_f]Liv[/name_f]. Take away the [name_f]Liv[/name_f] and [name_f]Odette[/name_f], and my favor again goes to [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f], so…yeah, I’m kinda torn. I guess I’ll vote for [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] since it wins in two cases.
[name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_f]Liv[/name_f] would be my preferred combo.
I like [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] the most! I would assume anyone having two daughters named [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] and [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] to be religious, yes. One daughter would be totally fine though!
Why couldn’t you use both?!? It’s themey but not overly obvious to people who aren’t knowledagble about etymology (most people) or overly religious. I don’t see it as any different than naming your kids two other biblical names or nature names or something.

I prefer [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f].
I picked [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], but only because I have truly loved it longer than [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]. I adore the sound of [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] but [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] is a bit more safer to use so I have warmed to it more. I also love the nickname options of [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] ([name_f]Evie[/name_f], [name_f]Eve[/name_f], [name_f]Eva[/name_f], [name_u]Angel[/name_u], [name_u]Angie[/name_u], [name_f]Angeline[/name_f], [name_f]Angelina[/name_f], [name_f]Lina[/name_f], the list is endless…) over the nickname options of [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] ([name_f]Sera[/name_f], Phina and [name_f]Fifi[/name_f] are the only ones to come to mind). Speaking of middle names, however, I much prefer [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_f]Liv[/name_f] over [name_f]Laetitia[/name_f] [name_f]Odette[/name_f]. I really like [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] or [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Laetitia[/name_f] [name_f]Juliette[/name_f], although a little long.
That’s tough, I really love them both! I feel like you could use them both but agree that it does give off a bit of a religious vibe. That said, [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] probably gets my vote.
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] for me, although I prefer the [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] combo.
I love the name [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]. I think it is feminine and frilly without being too much. [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] has too many syllables and frills for me. I much prefer [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f] to [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]. Have you considered [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f]? I think it would be a good fit for you! It combines the good of both names together: [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]'s sound and [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]'s less noticeable angel reference.
Wow, this was so hard to pick! I chose [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] [name_f]Juliette[/name_f], though I wouldn’t put [name_f]Liv[/name_f] on the end personally. I think the name is stunning as it is, and doesn’t need a second middle name. The same for [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Laetitia[/name_f]. I picked [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] over [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], because as much as I adore the latter, [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] caught my eye as an utterly beautiful, ethereal name. My gaze kept going back to [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]. It’s very unusual, and more striking than [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] and the name [name_u]Evan[/name_u] too. I would choose this name but a family member has a very similar name. It looks & sounds classic, vintage and elegant. I love the meaning too. It’s one of the most beautiful girl names you can find IMHO.
Thanks for the responses, everyone! I prefer [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] over [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f] because I think it minimize the angelic connection a little bit. Plus I think [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] can be called [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f] too.
I love [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], but I worry about the popularity. I only ever heard of a few Evangelines, but I know tons of [name_f]Angeline[/name_f]/[name_f]Angelina[/name_f]/[name_f]Angelica[/name_f]/[name_f]Angela[/name_f]. Oh well, my own middle name is [name_f]Angelina[/name_f].
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think these names will be getting super popular in the next 3-7 years?
I feel you on the religious front, and think [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] steers away from it better than [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]. I just can’t shake the Evangelical [name_m]Christian[/name_m] association, and it totally destroys it for me as an atheist. [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f], on the other hand, makes me think of a fiery, passionate, spirited little girl (and later woman). In short, I’d take [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] over [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] every time.
Popularity wise, I think [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] will be more popular in that time frame - I’m pretty sure it’s more popular already. Although, [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] is poised to rise as well, apparently, but how far and how quickly, I don’t know.
I Much prefer [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] to [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] for multiple reasons:
I think [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] rolls off the tounge easier and sounds nicer than [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f], which i think sounds very clunky and has a continous down up down up sound (ser/A/phee/NA), Whilst [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] rolls out as one nice long smooth sound.
I also think the lettering and look of [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] is nicer than [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]
I love how the middle of ev[name_f]ANGELine[/name_f] says [name_u]Angel[/name_u], much nicer than seRAPHina, which shows Raph which sounds and looks very close to “Wrath”, meaning anger.
I much prefer the nickname possibilities to [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] than i do [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]:
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]:
[name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]:
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] just has so many nice ones, with many different options for a child or there parent to choose from, The nicknames also accommodate for different age groups e.g a baby named [name_f]Evie[/name_f], Toddler named [name_f]Annie[/name_f], child named [name_f]Ella[/name_f], teen named [name_f]Elle[/name_f], young adult named [name_f]Anna[/name_f], adult named [name_u]Angie[/name_u] and an elder named [name_f]Eline[/name_f].
This is exactly how I feel. I strongly prefer [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f], but I like [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]'s combo better. I ended up voting for [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f].
Actually, the nickname I choose for [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] is [name_u]Seren[/name_u], meaning star, which is a huge bonus since I’m into astronomy. I know it’s a stretch, but I think it works just fine. [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] will be mainly [name_f]Evie[/name_f] or [name_f]Elle[/name_f].
I guess my main issue with [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] is its popularity. sigh
Any idea for a good second middle name? I love [name_f]Odette[/name_f] for a long time, but [name_f]Liv[/name_f] is actually a recent crush. Previously I had [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] there, but then I moved it to my other combo.
Personally I prefer [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] to [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]. However I do not like [name_f]Liv[/name_f] in the name - [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] is nice.
[name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] by far.
