Bay

What do you think of [name_u]Bay[/name_u]?

My husband is a fisherman (fishes in Baffin [name_u]Bay[/name_u]) & his favorite football team is the Greenbay Packers. He LOVES the name [name_u]Bay[/name_u] because of the connection with the hobbies he loves.

I, coincidentally, love the name too. Is it too close of a connection though?

Full name would probably be [name_u]Bay[/name_u] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Eliz[/name_f]. [name_f]BAE[/name_f] initials too much? Second option is [name_u]Bay[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Eliz[/name_f]. [name_f]BRE[/name_f].

[name_u]Bay[/name_u] is my absolute favorite!

(Hubby’s not on board and I’m heartbroken!)

I think the connections to your hubby’s hobbies are fun and not too “on the nose.”

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Bay[/name_u] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f] together.

I really like [name_u]Bay[/name_u]! It feels both summery thanks to the water connection and earthy thanks to the herb. The connection to your husband’s hobbies is sweet too, and it wouldn’t be noticeable to anyone who doesn’t know your family well so I don’t think it’s too much. I also think the initials [name_f]BAE[/name_f] are fine . No one thinks about initials that much anyway, the fact that the initials spell out the sound of the name is just a fun coincidence that I don’t think would give anyone too much pause, and the phrase ‘bae’ is neither negative nor likely to have long-lasting relevance. If [name_u]Bay[/name_u] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is your favourite then I’d go with that. [name_u]Bay[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is very pretty too, although I think [name_f]Alice[/name_f] flows better.

[name_u]Bay[/name_u] and [name_u]Piper[/name_u] sound great together btw.

I think [name_u]Bay[/name_u] is lovely, and a very nice namesake for your husband and his loves. Although I do love [name_u]Bay[/name_u] [name_f]Alice[/name_f], I think with your surname, [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is far too similar. I think [name_u]Bay[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] would be lovely, and fits in with her sister’s name beautifully too.

Gotta Back the Pack.

I like [name_u]Bay[/name_u], but I don’t like [name_f]Alice[/name_f] or [name_f]Rose[/name_f] with your last name and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] kind of choppy.

I don’t think it’s the surname - I think it’s supposed to be [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] but with blanks so the full name isn’t Googleable!

Anyway, I love [name_u]Bay[/name_u]! Beautiful, soft, calm name and a great tie-in to your husband’s hobbies. I love it with [name_u]Piper[/name_u], too.

I’d probably avoid the initials [name_f]BAE[/name_f] with [name_u]Bay[/name_u] as the first name, though. Who knows, “bae” may have fallen out of use in a decade, but for now it’s one of the main hesitations people generally have with [name_u]Bay[/name_u] as a name or nickname as it is. [name_u]Bay[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] E------- is very pretty.
