I’m thinking of naming a character [name_f]Beacon[/name_f] [name_f]Nadia[/name_f]. I really like this combo because together it means “signal light of hope” and has a lot of nn’s I like ([name_f]Bea[/name_f], [name_f]Connie[/name_f], [name_f]Becky[/name_f], and [name_f]Coco[/name_f] are the ones I’m thinking of) I was wondering what y’all think?

I am personally not a fan of [name_f]Beacon[/name_f] as a name, nor of the way its ending run into the beginning of [name_f]Nadia[/name_f], but from a purely objective standpoint, [name_f]Beacon[/name_f] [name_f]Nadia[/name_f] is a memorable name for a character, and the meaning is sweet! I particularly love the nickname potential as well.

I agree that it’s a memorable name, I like it! When I hear [name_f]Beacon[/name_f] I immediately think of a lighthouse, so I would suspect a relationship between the character and the sea/lakes. For some reason I imagine an adventerous, brave and sea-smart girl with the name, almost a [name_f]Moana[/name_f] type character.

I can kind of see that 
I had never considered [name_f]Beacon[/name] for a name but I kind of love it? It’s especially cool for a character. The meaning is awesome as well.

I have a bit of a nightmarish connection to the word beacon so it’s hard for me to see it objectively. But the meaning is lovely, and you have some lovely nns for her—and I love [name_f]Nadia[/name_f]! I really like her for you
