My husband and I were set on the name Bennett, but our daughters name is Emma and I’m afraid Bennett is too much of a trendy-surname to go with Emma, so we were thinking Benjamin… thoughts?
I think both [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] and [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] pair well with [name_f]Emma[/name_f], so go with whichever you prefer! Both are great names.
I wouldn’t think twice about either. Families frequently have a slightly different style for boys and girls.
I do looove [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] though–it’s such a cozy but strong name!
[name_u]Bennett[/name_u] is fine with [name_f]Emma[/name_f]!
I think [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] is fine with [name_f]Emma[/name_f], although it does immediately make me think of [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Austen[/name_u] (i.e. the book [name_f]Emma[/name_f], and the character [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_m]Bennet[/name_m] from Pride & Prejudice).
I have a real soft spot for [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] at the moment too, so I’m really fond of [name_f]Emma[/name_f] & [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] together - so sweet!
Both sound gorgeous with [name_f]Emma[/name_f]!
[name_f]Emma[/name_f] & [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] have a sweet literacy vibe that feels fun and vibrant. Honestly sibling sets do not need to be completely cohesive IRL you often see sibling sets like [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] & [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] and no one bats an eye even though they don’t completely work. I think [name_f]Emma[/name_f] & [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] have more cohesiveness than [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] & [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] despite not being off the same style. I really like [name_f]Emma[/name_f] & [name_u]Bennett[/name_u].
[name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] is gorgeous such a solid dependable biblical name with a soft but gentle sound. I think stylistically [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] does work well with [name_f]Emma[/name_f] the overall sibling set feels very classic.
Either one would work wonders with [name_f]Emma[/name_f] however go with your favourite which I’m thinking is [name_u]Bennett[/name_u].
Good luck
I think they go well together!
I think they both really work with [name_f]Emma[/name_f]! I love [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] because of the repetition of letters , similarly to [name_f]Emma[/name_f] . But I love [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] too because [name_m]Ben[/name_m] and [name_f]Emma[/name_f] are [name_m]Ross[/name_m] Geller’s children of friends !
No wrong answer here !! Both work so well !
I prefer [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] personally! I think it feels much fresher and more in line with Emma’s style.
Both are great. If you name him [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u], [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] can be a nn too.
I’d go with [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] simply because [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] is such a popular name right now. There has been at least one [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] in every single class or activity my kids have been in!
I personally prefer [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u], but I think [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] and [name_f]Emma[/name_f] go really nicely together, so go with your heart!
[name_f]Emma[/name_f] and [name_u]Bennett[/name_u] sounds better to me, especially since there are both double letters in the middle, and n comes right after m
I think either works perfectly fine!
Go with Benjamin! Such a lovely, sturdy classic! (That said, they both work quite well with Emma)
I do personally prefer [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] but I think it would be sad to not use the name you love just because it’s trendy. If you love it, use it!
