Can’t say I like any of the choices too much. [name]Julia[/name] is sweet, feminine and maybe a little dated-ready-to-comeback to me, whereas most of your options are current trendy or unique (in the case of Inverness).
I would go with [name]Violet[/name] or [name]Matilda[/name] (spelled like this, makes it more classic and “fit” better with [name]Julia[/name] to me) if anything. I’d try to find more equally spunky and “cute” names, though.
Definitely [name]Scarlett[/name] and [name]Violet[/name]! I love both names and the fact that they’re both colors/sound sort of alike is perfect for twins. I have a daughter named [name]Violet[/name] and we were going to name our last baby [name]Scarlett[/name] if he was a girl but decided [name]Scarlett[/name] and [name]Violet[/name] were too close for sisters. If they were twins, that would be a different story. They match without being too close.
I voted for [name]Scarlett[/name] and [name]Mathilda[/name]. I absolutely love [name]Scarlett[/name] and while I’m not a fan of [name]Mathilda[/name], I really like [name]Matilda[/name]. If I could have I would have voted for [name]Scarlett[/name] and [name]Matilda[/name]. [name]Julia[/name], [name]Scarlett[/name] and [name]Matilda[/name] have a classic-vintage-quirky vibe. [name]Scarlett[/name] may seem modern but GWTW makes me think she wasn’t unheard of in the 19th century, and it ranked in the top 1000 by the 1940s. I’ve never heard of Inverness as a name and it sounds so cool, unique and refreshing, but doesn’t work in the sibset. And it makes me think of Macbeth which is such a dark association. Though, [name]Scarlett[/name] Inverness would be one amazing combo.
[name]Mathilda[/name] and [name]Violet[/name] gets two thumbs up from me. [name]Julia[/name], [name]Mathilda[/name], and [name]Violet[/name] are marvelous as sisters.
I voted for [name]Scarlett[/name] and [name]Violet[/name]. Although I think they’re kind of too matchy, I really don’t like the spelling [name]Mathilda[/name]. If you take the h out though, I would vote for [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Matilda[/name].
I like [name]Scarlett[/name] and [name]Violet[/name]. They go best with [name]Julia[/name]. [name]Mathilda[/name] seems cool but clunky, whereas [name]Violet[/name], [name]Scarlett[/name], [name]Julia[/name] are not clunky. Inverness is really unusual unlike any of the other names and totally different doesn’t work for me. Maybe as middle name [name]Violet[/name] Inverness? Good [name]Luck[/name]!
I voted [name]Mathilda[/name] and [name]Violet[/name]. I like [name]Scarlett[/name] and [name]Violet[/name] best, but I think it is too close for twins.
I voted for [name]Scarlett[/name] and [name]Violet[/name]. They are great name choices and seem to go well with big sister [name]Julia[/name].
[name]Mathilda[/name] and [name]Violet[/name] or [name]Mathilda[/name] and [name]Scarlett[/name] almost got my vote, and might have if [name]Mathilda[/name] was spelled [name]Matilda[/name]. It seems more straightforward and more modern.
I am not familiar with Inverness, and I am not sure if I like it or not.
I voted for [name]Mathilda[/name] and [name]Violet[/name].
I actually love that spelling of [name]Mathilda[/name].
[name]Violet[/name] is nice, and acts as a bridge for [name]Julia[/name] and [name]Mathilda[/name]. [name]Violet[/name] has the same short and comfortable feeling as [name]Julia[/name], but the vintage feel of [name]Mathilda[/name].
Inverness doesn’t match any of the names.
I prefer [name]Scarlett[/name] makes me think of “little scar” so I prefer it spelled [name]Scarlet[/name]. Either way I just feel lukewarm about this name lately, it feels underwhelming compared to all of the other names.
I’m expecting twin girls too! It’s not easy picking 2 names. [name]Violet[/name] is on my list as well. I love it! I voted for [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Mathilda[/name]. [name]Both[/name] are beautiful names.
I was the one person who voted for [name]Violet[/name] and Inverness, though I almost voted for [name]Mathilda[/name] and Inverness.
Inverness is such a cool, daring choice! What a beautiful place-name. Is there a special significance for you?
She could go by [name]Verne[/name] or even [name]Vera[/name] for short, or [name]Nessie[/name] as a pet-name ([name]Loch[/name] Ness monster makes this pet-name material only)
I think [name]Violet[/name] and Inverness together are so springlike. I can almost smell the green grass… Though [name]Mathilda[/name] and Inverness are good too. My only (slight) qualm with Inverness is that it’s close to “in furnace” or “inverted” - but still - it’s gorgeous.
I haven’t voted. I like [name]Violet[/name] but [name]Mathilda[/name] and Inverness don’t go and I dislike matchy endings. I do like [name]Julia[/name] a lot though. [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Emily[/name] are nice together. Its just a shame that [name]Emily[/name] is so popular now! [name]Hope[/name] this helps.
