I’ve never heard a lot of these they’re very beautiful. I chose Lismore but I also really liked Vaila and [name_f]Ailsa[/name_f].

Dislike: [name_f]Rona[/name_f] (it’s the name of a Home Depot equivalent in [name_f]Canada[/name_f]), Orkney (just really dislike the sound, doesn’t sound like a little girl’s name), [name_f]Carna[/name_f] (too similar to the word for meat in many languages (carne)).

My top three are; Aisla, [name_f]Islay[/name_f], and Eilean.

[name_f]Ailsa[/name_f], [name_f]Islay[/name_f] and [name_f]Rona[/name_f] were the ones I voted for. I know a [name_f]Rona[/name_f], she’s not remotely scottish at all, but it’s a gorgeous name.

I love [name_f]Ailsa[/name_f] and [name_f]Rona[/name_f]. I like the sound of Eilean a lot, but not so much the look, only because in the US I would worry ppl would butcher it to sound like alien. If you live in [name_f]Scotland[/name_f] though (or somewhere pronunciation won’t be an issue) I like it.
