Is Betsy cute or am I delusional? I would use Elizabeth as a full name, which I also like on its own. My other kids have long names shortened to a “y” nickname not entirely intentional but there is a theme.

I love betsy for a nickname , and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] for a full name! Theres alot of nickname options with elizabeth. [name_f]Betsy[/name_f] , [name_m]Eli[/name_m], [name_f]Liz[/name_f], [name_f]Lizzy[/name_f] , [name_f]Beth[/name_f] .

It is very cute. I know of a 7yo [name_f]Betsy[/name_f] (I’m in [name_f]England[/name_f], it’s her full name but nickname-y names like this are very common here).
I have a friend called [name_f]Betsy[/name_f], I find it a fun, warm and welcoming name!
I think its an adorable vintage choice thats not overly cutesy.

[name_f]Betsy[/name_f] is lovely! There are other diminutives of [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] I like more (Eliza, [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Lily[/name_f], Izzy), but [name_f]Betsy[/name_f] is super fun and I’d love to meet a little one with this name.
