With [name]William[/name]… If you have a two-syllable last name, I would use a one-syllable (or maybe three-syllable) middle name. For example, if your last name was a two-syllable name like [name]Carter[/name]… [name]William[/name] [name]Paul[/name] [name]Carter[/name] would flow better than [name]William[/name] [name]Thomas[/name] [name]Carter[/name]. If you have a one-syllable last name, like [name]Day[/name], [name]William[/name] [name]Thomas[/name] [name]Day[/name] would sound better than [name]William[/name] [name]Paul[/name] [name]Day[/name]. [name]How[/name] many syllables in your last name?
I voted for [name]William[/name] [name]Reuben[/name]. [name]Reuben[/name] is refreshing to hear.
I picked [name]Joseph[/name], but [name]Reuben[/name] would be my second choice
I like [name]William[/name] [name]Thomas[/name].
Also, other Biblical options
[name]William[/name] [name]Titus[/name]
[name]William[/name] [name]Philip[/name]
[name]William[/name] [name]Rufus[/name]
[name]William[/name] [name]Nathan[/name]
[name]William[/name] [name]Michael[/name] (or [name]Micah[/name])
[name]William[/name] [name]Felix[/name]
Thanks for thoughts and other suggestions. Quite like [name]William[/name] [name]Jude[/name]!
@everwaiteing - syllables in last name would depend on future DH’s surname I’m just playing with ideas- [name]William[/name] is first choice for a boy. I get your point though
My favourite is [name]William[/name] [name]Joseph[/name]
I voted [name]William[/name] [name]Peter[/name]. I liked [name]William[/name] [name]Reuben[/name] the best, but I didn’t like how it reminds me of bilirubin.
What about [name]William[/name] [name]Gabriel[/name]? I absolutely love that. I also love the suggestion of [name]William[/name] [name]Ezra[/name], and I think [name]William[/name] [name]Caleb[/name] would be adorable, as well.
Good luck!
I have to agree that it depends on the number of syllables in the last name, but I like [name]William[/name] [name]Thomas[/name], [name]William[/name] [name]Paul[/name] and [name]William[/name] [name]Jude[/name].
Thanks for the feedback!
I think the number of surname syllables will be a definite consideration. Also, think it might be that if I’m so set on [name]William[/name], I could let the future DH have a say in the biblical middle name (with some gentle hints on the opinions of berries of course )
