Biblical middle name

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you guys like the middle name [name_f]Grace[/name_f]-[name_f]Glory[/name_f]? I like it but sometimes I feel like it’s too much. Do you have suggestions for a biblical middle name that’s not too common?

I like [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and [name_f]Glory[/name_f], just not together. I don’t mind it as much in the middle spot, and it would depend what first name it was paired with. I don’t have suggestions off the top of my head for uncommon biblical names (maybe [name_f]Gloria[/name_f]?) but there are plenty of Berries I can think of that would have a good list! Here’s hoping they see this and start listing for ya!

Hmm, I’m not a fan of it but I like the idea. It’s too wordy. I think [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] or [name_f]Anouk[/name_f] [name_f]Glory[/name_f] would work better. [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] means glory and [name_f]Anouk[/name_f] means [name_f]Grace[/name_f].

I’m not a huge fan, but as a middle name it could work… With the right first name. It still feels a little bit much though.

I prefer [name_f]Glory[/name_f] on its own.

I like [name_f]Glory[/name_f] and [name_f]Grace[/name_f] just not together. I think if your going to leave it like that [name_f]Glory[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] flows better…

I LOVE the idea of Grace-Glory. But, I agree with everyone else, it’s just too much. Glory is a beautiful, underused virtue name (that I love!) on it’s own. Grace is pretty, too, but how much it’s used as a filler name has kind of ruined it for me.

Some ideas for uncommon virtue names:

Mercy
Charity
Patience
Temperance
Verity
Truth/True
Amity
Peace
Constance
Honor
Prudence
Victory

Some other ideas for uncommon Biblical names:

Zillah/Zilla
Zilpah
Junia
Talitha
Havilah
Ashbel (was actually a guy in the Bible, but I think it would be great on a girl)
Aquila
Damaris
Hadassah
Keturah
Mahala
Orpah
Oprah
Rahab (ray-hab)
Tirzah
Zipporah/Tzipporah
Vashti
Selah

I like [name_f]Selah[/name_f] , [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] ,[name_f]Rebecca[/name_f]

If you wanted a similar name you could use [name_f]Gloriana[/name_f] or something similar as it combines glory and [name_f]Anna[/name_f] means [name_f]Grace[/name_f] so a variation of [name_f]Anna[/name_f] could get you the same meaning. I like [name_f]Grace[/name_f]-[name_f]Glory[/name_f] and if you really love it maybe just use it, but for me would be a little too much.

As a middle name, I think [name_f]Grace[/name_f]-[name_f]Glory[/name_f] could work just fine!

@jonquils always has beautiful, unique Biblical/religious combos on her lists

Magdalena, [name_f]Lydia[/name_f], [name_f]Sarai[/name_f]

I agree that it’s too much together. I love [name_f]Glory[/name_f] though!

For biblical girl names that aren’t too common, I love: [name_f]Esther[/name_f], [name_f]Ruthie[/name_f], [name_u]Noa[/name_u], [name_u]Jessie[/name_u], [name_f]Eve[/name_f]/Eva

I love @Kittylitter’s and @fearlessfirefly’s ideas! [name_f]Grace[/name_f]-[name_f]Glory[/name_f] is a little too much for me, especially because of the hyphen, but I think it would work as a middle name.
I quite like [name_f]Gloria[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] as an alternative. I believe it would create a pretty middle name!

I think the double G is a little bit of a mouthful here, even though I generally am a fan of alliteration, love double names and skew biblical!

Grace can be a second in a double for almost anything.
[name_f]Glory[/name_f] shines in the middle on it’s own - it’s radiant.
[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite biblicals that are less common are [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] and [name_f]Tirzah[/name_f].

I think [name_f]Grace[/name_f]-[name_f]Glory[/name_f] is definitely way too much alliteration!

Uncommon biblical names:
[name_u]Shiloh[/name_u]
[name_u]Neriah[/name_u]
[name_f]Talia[/name_f]
[name_f]Anaya[/name_f]
[name_f]Hosanna[/name_f]
[name_f]Judith[/name_f]
[name_f]Priscilla[/name_f]
[name_u]Terah[/name_u]
[name_f]Zemira[/name_f]

I agree that [name_f]Gloria[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is a better alternative
