Hi Berries!
I have been loving the name Blair for a girl for quite a while now and have been trying to come up with some combos and sibsets to work with it. I know this name isn’t for everyone, but I would love to have your opinions and hear some of your ideas too!
Firstly, I think I prefer the Blair spelling over Blaire, but in my opinion, adding the ‘e’ on the end makes it seem more feminine. Which do you prefer?
Blair
Blaire

For combos, I have come up with:
Blair Felicity
Blair Antonia
Blair Susannah
Blair Delilah
Blair Gwendolyn
Blair Juniper
Blair Jasmine
Blair Madison
Blair Vivienne
For sibling names, I have been struggling a bit, especially with boys names. I’m not sure if having another unisex name would be confusing, or whether it would just be easier to have a clearly masculine name.
Girls:
Blair & Ivy
Blair & Quinn
Blair & June
Blair & Pia
Blair & Tess
I absolutely love [name_u]Blair[/name_u] (I prefer this spelling). It’s pretty but not frilly and it’s not too common but still familiar!
I’m really loving [name_u]Blair[/name_u] [name_f]Felicity[/name_f], [name_u]Blair[/name_u] [name_f]Susannah[/name_f], [name_u]Blair[/name_u] [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] & [name_u]Blair[/name_u] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] from the combos! And then my top two favorite sib sets are: [name_u]Blair[/name_u] + [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] and [name_u]Blair[/name_u] + [name_f]Tess[/name_f]
I like [name_u]Blair[/name_u]! I think [name_u]Blaire[/name_u] is pretty too, but I don’t really have a preference between the two. I like [name_u]Blair[/name_u] [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] and [name_u]Blair[/name_u] [name_u]Antonia[/name_u] for the combos. [name_u]Blair[/name_u] & [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] and [name_u]Blair[/name_u] & [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] for sisters, and [name_u]Blair[/name_u] & [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] and [name_u]Blair[/name_u] & [name_u]Vaughn[/name_u] for brothers!
I like [name_u]Blair[/name_u] and prefer this spelling. Nothing wrong with [name_u]Blaire[/name_u], but the [name_u]Blair[/name_u] spelling is more concise and to the point for me.
[name_u]Blair[/name_u] [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] and [name_u]Blair[/name_u] [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] are lovely! I’ll throw in the suggestions of [name_u]Blair[/name_u] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] and [name_u]Blair[/name_u] [name_f]Sienna[/name_f]
[name_u]Blair[/name_u] and [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] and [name_u]Blair[/name_u] and [name_f]Tess[/name_f] work to me! Also [name_u]Blair[/name_u] and Rhett/Knox/Vaughn/Evan
i love blair(e), with or without the ‘e’. it seems feminine to me either way, but that’s possibly because i know a lovely female blair who wears the name well.
blair felicity and blair gwendolyn are my favorites of your combos.
I much prefer the sleekness of Blair; due to Gossip [name_f]Girl[/name_f] it also feels very feminine to me while the -e version makes me think of “blare”.
As for middle names, [name_u]Blair[/name_u] [name_u]Antonia[/name_u] is a stand-out to me from your list, feminine and strong, melodic and stylish - just wonderful!
As for sibling names, [name_u]Blair[/name_u] to me doesn’t feel very unisex to me in the sense of that it feels quite feminine on a girl and quite masculine on a boy rather than feeling somewhere in the middle, something that I see [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] or [name_u]Taylor[/name_u] as, for example. Because of that, I think you can pair it with anything you want with it still feeling fair.
[name_u]Blair[/name_u] & [name_f]Tess[/name_f], [name_u]Blair[/name_u] & [name_f]Pia[/name_f], [name_u]Blair[/name_u] & [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] and [name_u]Blair[/name_u] & [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] are my favourite sibsets.
I’d also suggest [name_u]Blair[/name_u] & [name_f]Lily[/name_f] or [name_u]Blair[/name_u] & [name_u]Theo[/name_u] as sets that you might like.
