I created a name discussion back in [name_u]November[/name_u] and got some great feedback. However, our name list has COMPLETELY changed 13 weeks left and this baby girl still has no name!
Our first daughterâs name is [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]. We are looking for something short like [name_f]Isla[/name_f]. Since [name_u]November[/name_u], weâve had the names [name_u]Blair[/name_u] and [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] on our list. I donât know why these two names stick out to us but they do. We love [name_u]Blair[/name_u] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] and [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f].
What do you all think about these two names? Iâve gotten mixed reviews. At this point, Iâm just going to see what she looks like and give her a name Lol.
If you have any other names, feel free to send them.
I think [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] doesnât feel as exciting to me as [name_u]Blair[/name_u] does, as I know so many [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]âs, but both would sound nice with [name_f]Isla[/name_f]
I personally prefer [name_u]Blair[/name_u] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], but with [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] I would pick [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f].
Honestly naming is so hard Iâm having my caesarean in two weeks and even though Iâm certain that [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] will be her name Iâm still feeling a bit like ah have I made the right decision!!! Itâs just so hard the responsibility of naming a brand new person I understand why your struggling.
Isla [name_f]May[/name_f] is a rather spunky choice that feels very fashionable. I think from your two favourites [name_u]Blair[/name_u] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] is definitely my favourite. Stylistically the two names together work brilliantly. [name_u]Blair[/name_u] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] is fashionable, cool and spunky she sounds great with [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]. The only thing I would change about this name is the spelling I think [name_u]Blaire[/name_u] is visually more attractive the âeâ ending looks softer. Anyways love [name_u]Blair[/name_u]/Blaire [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]!
How the two names flow is definitely important since the girls are only 16 months apart. I want them both to feel special and love their names equally. Thank you.
Thank you! Yes, itâs such a struggle! I love your name choice too. So cute! We all just want to be the best moms even when it comes to something like a name haha
I think [name_u]Blair[/name_u] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] sounds so nicely next to [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]! [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] sounds a little âblandâ I guess, imo, because itâs much more popular and a little overused. But [name_u]Blair[/name_u] is fun and fresh!
I can see why youâre having a tough time choosing, they are both lovely names that pair very well with your daughterâs name. I think that [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] stylistically flows great with [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f], and I have always liked [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]. But I like [name_u]Blair[/name_u] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] just a tad more because it feels elegant yet spunky, and it is a less common but familiar name.
[name_m]Ah[/name_m] thank you itâs nice to hear positivity about [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] Honestly naming is hard and itâs true we just want our child to like their name that weâve chosen for them. Either name you choose though from your contenders Iâm sure sheâll love it good luck
Sophie [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is a little hard for me to say with the O sound in both names, so I vote for [name_u]Blair[/name_u] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]! Both are beautiful though, and go great with [name_f]Isla[/name_f].
How about [name_u]Blair[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]? I [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Isla[/name_f] and [name_u]Blair[/name_u], but [name_u]Blair[/name_u] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] doesnât flow for me. Iâm sure whatever you choose will be wonderful though!
