I like [name_f]Briar[/name_f] better. It sounds sweeter and more melodic, whereas I think [name_u]Blair[/name_u] sound harsh and incomplete.

I’d pick [name_u]Blair[/name_u]. Briars hurt!

Definitely [name_u]Blair[/name_u]. [name_f]Briar[/name_f] seems very juvenile to me.

[name_u]Blair[/name_u] is the winner here. [name_f]Briar[/name_f] has a harsh sound, and I don’t think it is very practical as a name.

I really like [name_u]Blair[/name_u], it’s a really pretty name. I’ve never cared for [name_u]Blair[/name_u], it sounds too harsh and prickly.

I much prefer [name_f]Briar[/name_f]. To me, it has a much prettier, more feminine sound, but still sounds strong. [name_u]Blair[/name_u] is also the surname of a pretty unpopular ex-Prime Minister here in the UK so that really puts me off.

[name_u]Blair[/name_u] has always seemed like a quite harsh and overtly masculine name to me. I really don’t like it at all. [name_f]Briar[/name_f] is sweet and melodic, but still strong. The connotation with the Sleeping Beauty story is a nice link for any little girl to have as well-I’d definitely choose [name_f]Briar[/name_f] over [name_u]Blair[/name_u]. Having said that, I much prefer [name_f]Bryony[/name_f] over both names!

This is rare for me but I can’t pick, I really like both. I also like [name_f]Bryony[/name_f] and [name_f]Blythe[/name_f].

I like both names a lot.

With your kids’ names I’d choose [name_f]Briar[/name_f]. And personally, I don’t think it’s any more juvenile or any less practical than the name [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] which is super trendy or the name [name_f]May[/name_f] which is a classic.

That said, if you want to keep the “L” trend in all your kids names then you should go with [name_u]Blair[/name_u].

[name_f]Briar[/name_f]'s my favourite!
