Out of curiosity, which twin was which? I think it’s interesting how we have our own perceptions, because I don’t think I would have put half of those names in the categories you did! Of your remaining names, I would think:
I didn’t know which category to put [name_f]Saoirse[/name_f] in, because I imagine her with flaming red hair, and I don’t think that really fits in either category!

I’ve known three Roses–one was an Irish redhead, one a brunette, and the other I have no clue because she was always dying her hair. But because of [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_u]Tyler[/name_u], I can easily see [name_f]Rose[/name_f] on a blonde, too!
I think to be honest most of these names would work for both blonde and dark haired children. However I do understand that some names conjure up different images of who they would belong to. Yet I wouldn’t stop using a name that you think belongs to a blonde child because the child is born with dark hair.

I think about this all the time too lol! My family thinks I’m crazy. I’m blonde, my kiddos both have gorgeous dark golden blonde hair, and my boyfriend has dark hair. I’m hoping when we have kids together they’ll end up with his curly dark hair and green eyes so those are the names I keep looking for (if you can think of any PM me hahaha!) It’s hard to know when they’re born though what color they’ll end up settling on… My daughter was born with black hair, then it went a stunning shade of auburn for a loooong time before it finally decided it wanted to be dark golden blonde around age 5-ish. Her full name has suited her at every stage, but her nickname suits her best now!

Thanks everyone, actually it looks like we have general overall agreement on blonde and dark names, you guys put most names in the same category I would have done with a few exceptions. @Inkling your description of [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] is so vivid, I might have to reinstate the name as a middle again! My great-grandmother was [name_f]Coralee[/name_f] and one of the [name_f]Rose[/name_f] combo options is [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] [name_f]Frieda[/name_f] as DH is desperate to have his granny [name_f]Frieda[/name_f] (nms at all!) in there. I too yearned for a dark curly-haired daughter which is what I got with [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] - ([name_f]Leonora[/name_f] is the blonde @ashthedreamer). Perhaps that is why most of my names lean toward the dark-haired!
