Blythe, Eloise, Cordelia...thoughts?

I’ve been pretty sure about two names for a boy but still iffy on the girls what are your thoughts on the names [name_f]Blythe[/name_f], [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] and [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]?

[name_f]Blythe[/name_f] is my favorite. [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] would also work as a mn with [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]…[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] is so romantically vintage and subtlety linked to [name_f]Anne[/name_f] of [name_u]Green[/name_u] Gables by [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Maud[/name_f] [name_m]Montgomery[/name_m].

love [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] and [name_u]Eloise[/name_u]. I love older names but I think [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] might be just a tad bit to old for my taste.

[name_f]Blythe[/name_f] is nms. I like [name_u]Eloise[/name_u], and I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f].

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] and [name_u]Eloise[/name_u]! [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] isn’t bad either, it just isn’t my style. But I do like @sweetpea’s suggestion of [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]

I’ve been trying to find some that are short like [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] and won’t require a [name_u]Nick[/name_u] name or one that is longer but has a [name_u]Nick[/name_u] name I like.

For [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] I like lulu and for [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] I like corrie, [name_f]Cora[/name_f] or [name_f]Delia[/name_f].

I still very much like [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] but I think it’s gotten too popular now

I’ve never been a fan of [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f], but I love [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] and [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]!

I like [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] and [name_u]Eloise[/name_u].

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]! ^^

[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] and [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] are a little too crowd-pleasing for me. [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] has really good rhythm and makes a fantastic middle name in almost all situations, and she has plenty of nicknames and history and associations. [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] is prim and stately with popular [name_f]Cora[/name_f] as a nickname possibility, feels a lot more versatile than you’d expect. I find they lack a bit of personality, they are smiling, happy, summery, perfect names.
[name_f]Blythe[/name_f] is a little clunky and unfashionable, when I see her I can easily imagine several different situations I would expect to find a person named [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] in. Trying to do the same for [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] and [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] I just see static, smiling portraits in sunlight. Commercial friendly.

I love [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] and [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] and had both of those names on my list for a long time (in fact, I love [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and calling her [name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_f]Beth[/name_f]). [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] kind of just falls out of the mouth without even trying… which doesn’t paint a beautiful picture in my mind.
