Bohemian Names Or Surfer Girl Names

My [name_f]Sister[/name_f] Is Having A [name_u]Baby[/name_u] Girl And She Has Asked Me To Help. She Like Bohemian Names Because She Thinks Their Original Compared To Names Like [name_u]Madison[/name_u]. She Also Likes Names That Make Her Daughter Sound Like A “Surfer”.

So Far She Likes:

[name_f]Topanga[/name_f] and [name_u]Kalani[/name_u]

[name_f]Topanga[/name_f] is a little too guilty pleasure name [name_f]IMO[/name_f].

From what I’ve researched [name_u]Kalani[/name_u] is more commonly a name used for boys.

Suggestions
[name_f]Leilani[/name_f]
[name_f]Kaya[/name_f]
[name_f]Lana[/name_f]
[name_f]Alannah[/name_f]

The name [name_u]Kalani[/name_u] was the first that sprung to mind for me too. Other suggestions:

[name_f]Kaia[/name_f] - feminine version of [name_u]Kai[/name_u] which is Hawaiian for sea.

[name_m]Bodhi[/name_m] - traditionally a surfer boy name, but if she wants to be original I could see it on a girl too, particularly with the nickname [name_u]Bo[/name_u].

[name_f]Avani[/name_f] - means “the good earth” in Hindi apparently.

[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] - means “leaping water” which kind of has a surfing vibe to it!

[name_f]Oceane[/name_f] - pronounced oh-see-EN

Hanalei - after Hanalei [name_u]Bay[/name_u] in Kauai

[name_u]Waverly[/name_u] - for obvious reasons!

[name_f]Indie[/name_f] - an indie name for an indie kinda girl.

[name_f]Breeze[/name_f], [name_f]Azure[/name_f], [name_u]Cyan[/name_u]/[name_f]Cyane[/name_f], [name_u]Indigo[/name_u], [name_u]Blue[/name_u]… the list goes on.

[name_u]Echo[/name_u]
[name_f]Luna[/name_f]
[name_u]Lyric[/name_u]
[name_u]Fable[/name_u]
[name_u]Story[/name_u]
[name_u]Truly[/name_u]

This seems like a challenge! I tried to throw in some bohemian names, some nature names, some hippy names, some vintage names, and some Hawaiian names. I love Kalani! What about Leilani, Indigo (nn Indie), Calla (like calla lilies), Poppy, Willow, Clover, Karina, Lavender, Amethyst, Lilac, Lux, Luna, Maylee, Maisie, Marigold, Maple, Noel/Noelle, Wisteria, Winter, Paisley, Peony, River, Primrose, Magnolia, Wren, Blissom, Coral, Opal, Persephone, Pandora, Melody, Lila, Bali, Milana, Lilo, Nalani, Mira, Marisol, Leila, Lena, Lana, Alani, Lani, Kala, Lilia, Lulani, Mahina, Nanala, Layla, Rainey, Odette, Ottilie, Sasha, Misty, Elodie, Esme, Feather, Avery, Aria, Aspen, Lenox, Sage, Sapphire, India, Oceane, Emerald, Pixie, Melanie, Plum, Fawn, Ivy, Alaska, Ruby, Celestia, Seraphina, Harlow, Athena, Sienna, Natalia, Verona, Tigerlily, Pheonix, Indie, Waverly, Tallulah, Tilly, or Capri. [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Pele[/name_f] or [name_f]Sunniva[/name_f]? If we are going all the way BoHo then I think it doesn’t get any prettier than Sunflower.
