Bonny Bonnie

A masculine version of Bonnie? Or a non-stretch unisex/masculine (preferably male) honor name for Bonnie (eta before anyone asks: as far as I know, it’s not short for anything).

This is a MN, btw. Preferably 3 syllables but anything over 1 (considering my potential first is 1 syllable & I don’t like the flow of that) is fine.

Sister would be Mira Noemi.

The first is quinn, but I really don’t care if the middle “goes” with that all that much.

I like the flow of Quinn Ebony but considering ebony is a girls’ name & Quinn is already feminine it’s a no.

Maybe [name_m]Bonaventure[/name_m]? [name_u]Or[/name_u] [name_m]Ebon[/name_m] could work too.

[name_u]Bodhi[/name_u] and [name_u]Bernie[/name_u] came to mind. [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_u]Bodhi[/name_u] sounds cool.

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think [name_u]Bodhi[/name_u] culturally appropriate? I am Danish, [name_m]German[/name_m], & Native American.

I think any name is usable. I’ve seen a lot of people considering it recently and I live in [name_u]America[/name_u], so I’d say so.

hmm…bond, gibbon, ibon, ebon, boniface? if a meaning honor isn’t too much of a stretch, beau, calixto, and memphis all mean “beautiful,” like bonnie! beau is probably the most direct masculine version.

Wow, [name_m]German[/name_m] is listed as a name, lol.

How could this possibly be an honor for Bonnie-

It has the same meaning as [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f]
