'boo'

I really like the middle name Boo! Or [name]Bow[/name]/[name]Bo[/name] something very cute that would make you go…awww  any suggestions for first names for girls?!
And for boys I really like names like alfie that seem a bit from the ‘older’ generation but are coming back, any suggestions on them?!

I quite like [name]Alfie[/name] [name]Beau[/name]

Hmmmm…Boo is a great nickname, but I’m not sure if I would use it or [name]Bo[/name] on a birth certificate. [name]Beau[/name] on the other hand is great name as is its longer forms [name]Beauregard[/name] or Beaufort (though I think town with this one. I’m from near Beaufort SC). [name]Robert[/name] is an older name and less popular these days, but it is a great way to get [name]Bo[/name] or Boo.

I would never use Boo as a middle name, I just recently came across [name]Jamie[/name] [name]Oliver[/name]'s children’s (crazy) names and I still can’t get over the fact that they named one of them [name]Daisy[/name] Boo [name]Pamela[/name]. I guess it’s not too outrageous next to her sibling’s names, [name]Petal[/name] [name]Blossom[/name] [name]Rainbow[/name] and [name]Buddy[/name] [name]Bear[/name], but I just wouldn’t be able to take Boo seriously as a mn.

I do like the suggestion of using [name]Beau[/name] as an alternative.

[name]Beau[/name] is nice. not a fan of Boo. agree with pp.

WEll, first of all, I see Boo and [name]Bo[/name] as different names. To me, Boo is like Boo [name]Radley[/name] and noise that ghosts are supposed to make or someone hiding behind a wall to scare you.

[name]Bo[/name] sounds like “bow.”

Altho I call my daughter Boo as a term of endearment, I don’t really like Boo as a name. I do, however, really like [name]Bo[/name], but spelled [name]Beau[/name]. I know that [name]Beauregard[/name] is the classic Southern name, but really it sounds a little over the top to me and I can almost see [name]Beauregard[/name] wearing a confederate uniform so it’s a little much for me. I do like [name]Beau[/name] though and wish my hubs would ever jump on that board, but I don’t think he ever would. Besides we seem to only produce girls in any case…

The other slight problem I see with [name]Beau[/name]/[name]Bo[/name] is that the Obamas named their dog [name]Bo[/name]. I mean, my daughter does share her name with [name]Oprah[/name]'s dog but I’m not sure I like my kid having the same name as the first pet.

Oh my gosh, can you imagine ‘Boo’ written on a formal wedding invitation?! shudders
Please don’t forget that the adorable baby you are naming will not be a perpetual child.

[name]Elizabeth[/name] Boo
[name]Matilda[/name] Boo
[name]Margaret[/name] Boo
[name]Caroline[/name] Boo
[name]Emmeline[/name] Boo
[name]Catherine[/name] Boo
[name]Daphne[/name] Boo
[name]Luella[/name] Boo
[name]Lucille[/name] Boo
[name]Olivia[/name] Boo

I think its fine as a middle name. The middle name is where you can go a little funky if you want.

Good luck!
