My mom’s first name is [name_u]Marian[/name_u]. I am having twin boys and considering using her first name for one of their middle names. Should I spell it [name_u]Marion[/name_u] since I am having boys? [name_f]Do[/name_f] any of these first names go with the middle name “[name_u]Marian[/name_u]/[name_u]Marion[/name_u]”:
My favorite is [name_m]Hayes[/name_m] [name_u]Marian[/name_u]. And yes, I prefer to keep the original spelling to honor your mother.
My first inclination is to avoid an N ending, but since the middle is an honor name, it doesn’t matter, chose whichever you like best or suits baby’s surname.
I have a good male friend named [name_u]Marion[/name_u] so I like it. I would change the spelling, as it still honors your mother, [name_f]IMO[/name_f]. Since it has 3 syllables, I like it with shorter middles like [name_m]Cole[/name_m], Aimes and [name_m]Brooks[/name_m].
I like the shorter ones. [name_m]Hayes[/name_m] and [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] are great. [name_m]Asher[/name_m], [name_m]Cole[/name_m] and Aimed are niceas we’ll. I think either spelling is ok, since it’s a middle but I prefer [name_u]Marion[/name_u].
I like these best with [name_u]Marion[/name_u] (and I’d spell it this way since that is the unisex spelling): [name_m]Asher[/name_m], [name_m]Cole[/name_m], and [name_u]Everett[/name_u]
