Like your suggestion to keep the [name_m]French[/name_m] feel going with [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] but, as we are naming her after someone, not sure about changing the spelling…?

Here are some middle name suggestions… Finding a name that doesn’t mean “gift of God” is tricky, but I’ve found a couple that mean gift or something similar 
[name_m]Asher[/name_m] - “fortunate, blessed”
[name_u]Theo[/name_u] - “divine gift” (however [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] does mean gift from God)
[name_m]Bennett[/name_m] - “blessed”
[name_u]Jesse[/name_u] - “gift”
My favourite combos would be [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] [name_m]Bennett[/name_m] or [name_u]Loki[/name_u] [name_m]Bennett[/name_m] & [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] [name_m]Asher[/name_m]
[name_m]Jasper[/name_m] is ‘bringer of treasure’ which is kind of along the lines of gift. [name_u]Ellis[/name_u] is ‘benevolent’ which generous which is also kind of along the lines of gift. Either of those would sound good with your names I think.
