We are due next week (YIKES!) with baby #2 and are really struggling to come up with a name if we have a boy. We already have a daughter named [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] [name_f]Salome[/name_f]. We have agreed on [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] if this baby is a girl (although we are still undecided on a middle name - [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_u]Marion[/name_u] is likely as [name_u]Marion[/name_u] was my DH’s maternal grandmother).
The boy names on our short list at the moment are:
[name_u]Loki[/name_u] (my favourite)
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] (DH’s favourite)
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u]
[name_m]Hugo[/name_m] (what we were going to name [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] if she had been a boy)
I am not completely convinced on any of the names and have absolutely no idea as far as middle names go. Suggestions on middle names are very welcome as are any other ideas/comments on first names.
Oh, our last name starts and ends with ‘s’ and so I am usually opposed to first names that are too ‘s’ heavy.
I like all the names. I would suggest using [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] (love the sound of this and the meaning of the names are pretty awesome too!)
I think [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] is a spunky name and needs a cool sibling name to match. [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] is cute because it can easily become [name_f]Elle[/name_f] when needed. Both names are not that popular either.
I really like [name_u]Loki[/name_u] from your list. I like that both nanes have 4 letters too! [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_u]Loki[/name_u] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] or [name_u]Loki[/name_u] [name_u]August[/name_u].
[name_f]Cleo[/name_f] and [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] sound a little matching with the ‘O’ at the end.
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] is quite feminine so as long as you don’t mind that it goes well with [name_f]Cleo[/name_f].
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u] is cute but I love it as a middle. Maybe [name_u]Loki[/name_u] [name_u]Emmett[/name_u].

[name_m]Hugo[/name_m] is lovely and I think it sounds perfect with [name_f]Cleo[/name_f]! Other ideas could be [name_m]Milo[/name_m] and [name_m]Enzo[/name_m] if you’d like to keep the four letters and ending in O themes going. Otherwise: [name_m]Alec[/name_m], [name_m]Levi[/name_m], [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] and [name_m]Jonah[/name_m] all sound great when paired with [name_f]Cleo[/name_f]. Good luck!

But that’s just me… I love [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] for a person too btw!

And [name_u]Owen[/name_u] couldn’t make the list because DH’s cousin just had an [name_u]Owen[/name_u].
