Boy name that ends up being "mark" middle or first

My husbands dad passed away 5 months before we got pregnant, and his name was [name]Mark[/name]. I am trying to think of an M name that honors him that is longer than [name]Mark[/name] because I am not keen on that name, personally but just something that resembles it (besides marcus)

Why don’t you do a Super Search of boy names that contain “marc” or “mark”?

Here’s all the names I could find for you that had [name]Mark[/name]/[name]Marc[/name] actually in there (and [name]Marq[/name] since it’s the same sound):

Lamark
[name]Markel[/name]
Markham
[name]Marko[/name]
[name]Marcel[/name]
[name]Marcellin[/name]
Marcellis
Marconi
[name]Marquis[/name]

And even though you didn’t ask for it, I think names with the same meaning could work:

[name]Arrio[/name]
[name]Kearney[/name]

[name]Mark[/name] comes from the name [name]Mars[/name], so it has hundreds of “cousins” you can use.

Marlus
Marklin
Markson
[name]Markos[/name]
[name]Markel[/name]
[name]Marcus[/name]
[name]Marco[/name]

[name]Marcel[/name]
[name]Marcellus[/name]
[name]Marcellin[/name]
[name]Marius[/name]
[name]Martin[/name]
Gianmarco

Something like [name]James[/name]-[name]Mark[/name], [name]John[/name]-[name]Mark[/name], [name]Mark[/name]-[name]Anthony[/name], [name]Mark[/name]-[name]Louis[/name], [name]Mark[/name]-[name]Henry[/name], [name]Mark[/name]-[name]August[/name]

Perhaps you would like the name [name]Marek[/name]. I believe it’s the Polish variation of [name]Mark[/name] which changes the sound just a bit and would also give you an extra syllable to work with. I personally love this name. Good luck! =]

We found out the baby is for sure a little boy. We were thinking [name]Grayson[/name] as a first name but want to somehow fit in his dad who passed aways name and my dads middle name which is a very historical family name on my side. But the problem is we have a hyphenated last name. So [name]Grayson[/name] [name]Marcus[/name] [name]William[/name] Picton-Prater would be too long. lol. I have a problem on my hands and Im not creative enough to fix it alone. XD
