Our girl will either be [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] or [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], and we need a boy name to go along with it. We really like [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] because it’s unmistakeably feminine, yet strong and not too common. It also works well on a resume.
Our 2 syllable last name begins with a “Sh” sound, and ends with n. That rules out [name_m]Sean[/name_m], one of my favorites, because it sounds almost identical to our last name.
Hubby does not want to name him after close family, so that rules out
[name_u]James[/name_u]
[name_u]Michael[/name_u]
[name_m]Charles[/name_m]
[name_m]Patrick[/name_m]
[name_m]Matthew[/name_m]
[name_m]Paul[/name_m]- and I love [name_m]Paul[/name_m] for a mn
[name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]
[name_m]John[/name_m] - my other mn fave
[name_m]Joseph[/name_m]
[name_m]Justin[/name_m]
[name_u]Noah[/name_u] - another fave
I like strong, masculine names. No unisex (like [name_u]Emerson[/name_u]), or ancient ([name_m]Aristotle[/name_m], [name_m]Aries[/name_m], etc) or “out there” ([name_m]Draco[/name_m], Atrayu, etc). No trendy, top 20 names either.
I really love [name_m]John[/name_m] [name_m]Luke[/name_m] or [name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_u]Ryan[/name_u], though they’re on the “no” list.
Hubby likes [name_u]Carter[/name_u], but I think it’s too cutesy. Reid, perhaps?
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] was so easy! I’m kinda hoping we stop with her so I don’t have to stress over boy names!
