[name_m]Hi[/name_m],
I am due in [name_f]May[/name_f] and having a hard time coming up with a name for my little boy that goes nicely with our last name [name_m]Brown[/name_m]. Any ideas?
I like [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] but not sure about the double B with first and last name. I also like [name_m]Grayson[/name_m] but think “gray” and “brown” in the same name doesn’t sound great. Please let me know if you have any suggestions!
I think [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] [name_m]Brown[/name_m] is cute… [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] is a classic and [name_m]Brown[/name_m] so simple that the alliteration works to me.
I would stay away from [name_m]Grayson[/name_m] [name_m]Brown[/name_m] because inevitably some people will call him [name_u]Gray[/name_u] and [name_u]Gray[/name_u] [name_m]Brown[/name_m] is too much color for me and sounds like you’re trying to do some [name_u]North[/name_u] [name_u]West[/name_u] Kardashian type name.
The great thing about [name_m]Brown[/name_m] is that so many first names work. Except maybe [name_u]Charlie[/name_u]!
I think [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] [name_m]Brown[/name_m] works but as an adult he may go by [name_m]Ben[/name_m] [name_m]Brown[/name_m] and it isn’t terrible but I think it is a little bland. Some suggestions…
Thanks for these suggestions! We’re thinking of [name_m]Andrew[/name_m], [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m], [name_m]Henry[/name_m], or maybe [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] as the top few names right now. I like longer 3-4 syllable names to balance the 1 syllable last name which I think is part of the reason I like [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]. Any thoughts on which of these would go best with [name_m]Brown[/name_m] or any other ideas?
